大致上不錯！
位置很好，整潔，餐廳食物出色。但略為失望訂了海景房卻只有很少及視野普通的風景，倒不如訂普通房間。

Noisy room
Stay room just above bar because attracted by the price with breakfast. However, i would recommend other choices as people still talking loud until 2am even on a weekday. Breakfast is nice tho.

接近馬路和晚上當酒吧開門營業時, 非常吵鬧。
接近市中心方便購物、接近旅遊中心和碼頭，非常方便。在旅遊中心有很多本地旅遊資訊和可以參加本地遊。交通方便。

Excellent staff service
We stayed in Customs House Hotel from 14-16 Dec 2014. We had a nice experience in the hotel. We had our web online check-in for our domestic flight from Hobart to Sydney and need to print out our boarding passes in hard copiese. We told the hotel manager (Tyler) about this and he kindly agreed to help us with this. We were amazingly surprised by his kind help. He also gave us useful suggestions about the tourist spots nearby the hotel. We also liked the breakfast very much. It was delicious. We had spinach and salmon quiche and egg benedicts and most important of all, it was complimentary with one item per pax off the menu.

Worthwhile to stay
Maybe because of the high ceiling, the lighting seems not sufficient there. However, when taking the price and the location into consideration, it is still very worthwhile to stay. It is just in front of the wharf and near the market Salamanca. Besides, the breakfast is nice too.

Room is clean and tidy. Location is good and easy to access nearby tourist attraction by foot. Breakfast and service is good. However, the room shower pressure is too low and water kettle is old and a bit dirt.

一楼酒吧吵死人
由于到的是晚上 前台一开始接待没有人 这幢楼一楼是酒吧 晚上鬼哭狼嚎到半夜两三点 非常的吵 第二天要求换到另一面的房间被果断的拒绝 其实没多少客人 虽然离码头和salamanca集市很近 但是晚上睡不好觉 第二天一切都白搭

The location of this hotel is perfect to explore Hobart. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is a modernised old building with the normal quirks of stairs and sloping floors but the views are great and access to a guest laundry is wonderful for the traveller.

Excellent location, lovely hotel with good amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to transport to anywhere you would want to visit. Skybus stop just across the road as is stops for excursion pick ups

Smallish room provided, with dated amenities. Room was clean, bed and mattress good quality. Great location. Breakfast included with price. Can't complain especially for $150 a night. Sky bus to airport bus stop was a 30 second walk way. Would book again.

Good location but very old hotel with strange rooms - stairs in all sorts of weird places - made it quite difficult to navigate. No room service, limited reception hours, despite lovely view of the harbour very noisy location. The included breakfast is a bonus but this is a budget hotel but not a budget price so will look elsewhere next time.

Dear Anne, Thank you for your recent stay, taking the time to leave your feedback and I apologise our offering has not met your expectations. I realise our building is not so-called standard hotel style accommodation. It was built in 1846, is heritage listed, and still retains its charm that so many of our guests love. Whilst we do not have 24 hour reception, our opening hours are from 7am - 7:30pm and outside of these hours a duty manager can assist you with any enquiry. We stayed in Room 18 which is a standard twin room with a queen and a twin bed. One had to take the small elevator to the 2nd floor then walk down half a level using the stairs. Our room was facing the harbor but a tree blocked the view. The street lights from the pier shines into the room but the hotel has black out curtains. We loved the free breakfast from their restaurant which included your choice of entrée and drink from the standard breakfast menu. If you have an early tour departure, the reception gave out a to-go breakfast box of cereal, milk, oj, and breakfast bar. Housekeeping came every day to empty the trash, make the beds, and replenished the toiletries. We love the location of this historic hotel as it is close to everything, including day tour pick up points (usually across the street at Brooke St. Pier bus stop). There is a bit of street noise during the weekend when people drive on the main street at night. We stayed a total of 5 days and would stay here again when visiting Hobart.
