「Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.」

「The hostel was in a great location and the price was great, however it took me by surprise that the 6 bed rooms were coed with both sexes. I did not like that fact, nor all the stairs that had to be climbed. Not the best option for older travelers. 」

「It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.」

「Great venue, very limited parking. Kind of remote but good for access to different hiking locations. Huge kitchen and lounge area. 」

「Very nice in the Youth Hostel! Extremely clean, great shower and bathroom. The guy at the reception was also super sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend!」

「Parking was cash only but luckily had that on us but finding the parking was difficult due to construction. Then the small hike to the hostel from the temporary parking was a bit much with bags and over a fence. Service was nice, beds were not very comfortable 」

「The owners are something else, they really invest in the guests, planning together what to do, to cook, to attend. Its a cozy place where you can walk barefooted and strike a good conversation with everyone on site. You feel welcomed. Try their homemade jam. Yummy.」

「I booked a female dorm bed and it was coed, told that that allowed for more people to stay. Not on the website, not great, and one guy kept me awake all night with his snoring. The host there wasn't very friendly, either. Thankfully, the guests there were fun.」
