There was a lot of ice in the parking lot and no effort to apply any ice melt - dangerous. The breakfast was okay, but, just okay, Coffee ran out, eggs were rough, sausage was overcooked. Room was roomy and comfortable. I found a raisin on the floor. Tub was okay, but dripped and the stopper was set to catch the drips - needs maintenance. Good rest, comfortable, but could be better with a little effort.

Ridiculous customer service
I was stranded due to highway closure and tried booking a room for that evening (not the evening that was actually booked). Somehow when I was going through the process the date changed from that same day to 2 weeks later and I didn't notice that. I immediately requested a refund, and the hotel denied it. It wasn't like I asked the day before the booking, in which I would understand, but 2 weeks before? My fault for not double checking but was in a hurry due to there being hundreds of people trying to find a room at the time. Not the type of customer service that would ever lead me back to any Comfort Inn ever again. I would sleep in the car next time rather than even try this hotel.

Hello,We aren’t aware of denying any cancelations at the hotel during a snow storm. We do not do that. But as you are reviewing on a 3rd party site I’m assuming that is how you booked? If so it could be that the hotel did not deny the refund. It could be that the 3rd party denied it do to their policies. Unfortunately with these types of bookings the hotel does not have the ability to cancel nor change these, only the company booked with can. I hope this helps you choose how you book in the future! We do hope to see you at some point. Thank you!

Not dog friendly
Taken out of our room. Was told I should’ve called instead of booked on line for pet room. No king bed room for pets. Reprimanded about the door I used. Not a good experience but now I know where not to stay as we travel frequently to Colorado.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Unfortunately, we are not listed as pet friendly online, instead online it says we are not pet friendly. This saves us from a lot of confusion such as this, as we have just a couple of room we can allow pets in. We do recommend when traveling with a pet that you call any hotel directly to verify their pet policies. Thank you again!

Thank you for your review! We actually just finished converting this property from a different franchise entirely to the Comfort Inn & Suites. That entailed a compete renovation! Everything is the hotel is new! It was a long process but we are happy it is completed and turned out beautifully! We hope to see you again!

The key did not open our room. I went downstairs and was issued a new set of keys which also did not open the door. So my partner took the 2nd set of keys down and the receptionist was unwilling to give our situation priority over 2 gentleman who just walked in the front door. These 2 guys multiple time told the receptionist to take care of our issues before then. I went down a third time and came back with the hotel receptionist who reluctantly came with me to try. We were corrrect; he lock was defective. We ended up in a different room. He was not wiling to help us right away until we insisted. He never apologized to us for the inconvenience. He did not acknowledge our inconvenience we had gone through. There was a lady who very helpful and nice. She checked us in originally, but I believe her shift had just ended and his just started.

AC does not work properly. Do not stay here unless you like being overheated. Staff said it would get up to 75 or 78 then ac would come on for a while and then shut down. Cycle would repeat. Not conducive to a good night’s sleep.

The location was OK. I chose to stay on the side away from interstate 70. The hotel is average overall. The thing that makes the rooms terrible is the air conditioning units. The fan on the units cannot be set to run constantly. When they turn on it’s like starting a chainsaw. It’ll wake you up every time it turns on. Every five or 10 minutes. I would never stay there again.
