It was wonderful! I came for the Northern lights and I only drove about 20-30 minutes to see them. The property is located in a quiet residential area. The rooms are spacious, comfy, and come with all of the modern conveniences. The price is reasonable and the hosts were amazing. I would easily stay here again next time.Thank you, outstanding visit!

Great location to easily get around town. Clean, organized, great communication. Would def stay again. Bonus perk, around the corner is a huge park with a snow hill. We had hours of fun each day just playing in the snow.

150 percent recommend! My flight changed and they were able to accommodate me arriving earlier than expected. Great, clean, room that was quite spacious. Excellent location in town, easy to get to and from the airport, downtown, and other parts of town.

The place was clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were great. The management very receptive to requests even at all hours of the night. There was just one thing. We stayed on the top floor and their was an issue with the water. The water kept going from extremely cold to extremely hot. Not exaggerating: one minute the water was freezing and then the water was burning. Very difficult to shower. I did inform the management and they responded stating they were unaware of the issue and would address the concern. Overall it was a great place to stay and very convenient to everything. I would stay here again as long as the water issue was addressed.

All was great. The place was super clean. It seemed odd at first to be a rather unassuming apartment building, but all was great inside and I felt safe and secure. We’d readily stay here again!!! Great host!!!!

The place was very cozy and welcoming (got the premium apartment). It also has a huge, current smart TV which made it easy to cast my own media. The only concern with this property was the bed. The post claims all units have "memory foam mattresses," but this was a cheap spring mattress with a foam topper. It was the loudest mattress my wife and I have ever slept on and dipped in the middle. Aside from that though, the place was very comfortable. It's still a good deal IMO. We had it for three nights but the bed will bother you after the first night.

This place is super clean and modern, cute, and comfortable, with plenty of room. Conveniently located. Well stocked kitchen (coffee, tea, some snacks) and bathroom (even a hair dryer!) Comfortable bed, comfortable couch. And a great price! It was absolutely perfect for our little family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great communication with owner. Place was set up perfect. Great king size bed. Really nice stove & fridge that had everything we needed for quick meals. Internet was super fast. Place is convenient to all major highways to get to we’re you want to go. Highly recommend this place.

I like the cleanliness and it is spacious. The only problem is, it is far from dining and groceries. Shon is very accommodating to our needs. Gladys is also a very helpful woman who is kind and friendly.

I’m sorry to hear about you not being able to check in. Check in instructions are sent out 24 hours in advance. Usually through your booking website or email. Our contact info should be available there as well. We have never had a problem of being contacted before, a couple of times a guest would reach out to who they booked through and they would contact us immediately.

We stayed in the comfort apartment. Everything was clean and the communication was prompt. It is an inflatable bed not a pull out couch which is better. The main bed was comfortable.

Really nice, spacious, very clean accomodations.
Room was really nice and very spacious. Very clean. Communications with owner was very good and very responsive. We only stayed for two nights but I could see myself staying in that place for longer periods. Kitchen set-up was excellent.

Excellent apartment for short stays
First, North star Place is not a hotel. No maid service. We LOVED it. It's like staying at a friend's apartment. There was plenty of room and everything was very comfortable. They had a Keurig coffee maker (bring your favorite. I recommend the Alaska North Pole Blend), full sized fridge, stove and microwave. The bed is very comfortable, though I have one concern. My wife has titanium knees and cannot climb very well. The bed was at least 3.5 feet off the floor. She wound up sleeping on the day bed and was very happy with it. she recommended a step stool for the bed for those withy short wheels. The water heat control on the shower is very sensitive so be careful there. It's in a regular neighborhood and I enjoyed walking around. The people running it are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I come to Fairbanks. Oh, the TV had everything.

This is a full one bedroom apartment and was perfect for our four day stay in Fairbanks while visiting relatives. The owner was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.
