Cozy comfortable mountain style lodge in Patagonia. Beautiful views of Lake Argentina from our room. Excellent restaurant with professional friendly service. Reception staff were warm and helpful. Easy transfer to airport or the center of El Calafate. An excellent choice at the gateway to Patagonia!

Had to wait at check in. Only one staff member to do all the check-in, could have used one more staff. Room was hot, could have had a fan in rooms. Breakfast was delicious! Dining area very nice.

Noisy
No value for money. The location is quite far from town, but there complimentary shuttle service is great. They really need to clean the pool, as in the sunlight you see a lot of stuff floating in the water. Our room was located above a service building, so we had quite some noise on our room and in the morning, the cleaning staff would enter the hall way right next to our room, waking us early. The breakfast is very limited on savoury food

Beautiful facility with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. The hotel is far from down town, where the restaurants and shopping places are. Although the hotel provides a shuttle service, it is limited to the late afternoon/night. You will ended paying several taxi rides to move back and forth.

My husband and I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were amazing. Most of them spoke English and helped coordinate a tour for us and a dinner reservation in downtown. Kalen, in particular, was extremely helpful and we were lucky to have met him and stayed there. Highly recommend for those visiting El Calafate!

El hotel está muy venido a menos, no lo mantienen bien. El agua de la pileta está muy sucia, los cuartos viejos, la calefacción ruidosa de noche, el buffet del desayuno es muy básico, el staff ayuda muy poco. En su página de Expedia tienen dicen que ofrecen transfers al aeropuerto (lo cual es mentira) y que pueden asesorar para excursiones, pero no me ayudaron cuando les pedí ayuda. Las vistas son muy lindas, pero no me volvería a quedar.

nice enough
It was a little big for a one night stay. The pool and spa close very early, and open late. The beds are small and the sheets aren’t soft. The food was wonderful though, and the views were great.

No es lo que era antes
Había estado alojado en 2014 y la experiencia había sido fantástica. Pero esta vez note que no está bien mantenido. La pileta que es muy linda con hongos y paredes con humedad por todos lados. Las habitaciones necesitarían una refurnish. Perdimos la tarjeta de la habitación y nos quisieron cobrar 100 pesos! Algo nunca visto en un hotel de categoría. Lo único destacable es el servicio de transfer hasta el centro. Pero usan muchos vouchers, tienen que despapelizarse! Creo que es evdiente que han cambiado la administración y no está en su mejor momento el hotel.

Great Staff
The staff are great. The promotion that tells one the view is great is accurate. But this means the hotel is a tad out the town. There is an hourly shuttle.

Very well appointed hotel. Full services offered and a great view. The shuttle service was frequent enough and always on time. Wish we could have spent another day there to experience all the hotel offered.

Pessimo !!
Falta tudo !! Falta reparo no hotel (requer muita manutenção , lustres caindo , carpete nojento de sujo , sofas recpeçao acho que nunca foram lavados ) , falta simpatia dos funcionarios , falta qualidade e reposiçao no cafe da manha. Estadia muito ruim !! E ainda te cobram a agua sendo que nem o frigobrar do quarto funciona!! Unica coisa que vale a pena do hotel é o transfer para a cidade !! Nào indico!!

Decent hotel with great views
Good hotel with great views. A little out of town but shuttle to take you in and back for free. Pool great for after a day trip out.

Het hotel is verouderd, en heeft een boost nodig. Onze kamer was bespoten met gif, waardoor we ziek werden en last van ons keel kregen, en naar een andere kamer moesten. Waar we vervolgens jeuk kregen door mogelijk huis stof mijt, of een ander beestje. Ook de douche had schimmel en rook niet zo fris. Dus viel ons erg tegen.
