A magical & memorable weekend with balcony views of the Adriatic Sea & Dubrovnik Old Town. We stayed in one of the newly renovated villas in the historic palazzo building & had personal concierge service as well as personal chef at the villa terrace restaurant who cooked up whatever we wanted for breakfast fresh. Like a second honeymoon for my husband & me. Highly recommend! Hvala!

PERFECT LONG WEEKEND
We had a wonderful room with balcony overlooking the sea and also the Old Town was in view. Only a few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the Old Town. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff looked after you. Will definitely be staying there again.

The view at this hotel cannot be beaten, the pool/beach area looks over the old town and Lokrum island which is just amazing, but the hotel is in dire need of a renovation and food upgrade.

Bra läge, bra service - allt bra!
Vackert och bra beläget hotell i absolut toppklass. Vi blev uppgraderade till VIP klass på Victoria delen som ligger som ett eget hotell intill Villa Argentina med extra bra service. Bästa badläge för att vara så nära Dubrownik och det var enkelt att promenera till Gamla Stan. Parkering löstes enkelt och var dessutom gratis. Mycket serviceinriktad personal som verkligen jobbade hårt i den nästan 40 gradiga värmen. Vi saknade ingenting på detta hotell, utmärkt frukost och middag.

Great hotel
Wonderful old style hotel in a gorgeous setting on the beach within a walking distance from old town. The hotel needs a little update and the breakfast can be better but other than that, it was perfect .

部屋のバルコニーからドブロクニクの旧市街が見えて素敵でした。また朝食レストランからも景色が見えます。残念ながら私が宿泊時は天候が悪かったですがそれでも感動しました。 朝食の種類も多くどれも美味しく頂きました。 部屋も狭くなく良かったのですが備えつけの下から手で押すと出てくるタイプのハンドソープとボディソープはいくら押しても出てこなくて見てみるとボトルの蓋がついたままセットしてあり、出なくて当たり前。自分でボトルを外して蓋を取ってセットし直そうと思いかなりチャレンジしましが外し方がわからず出来ずかなりイライラしました。翌朝、メモにその旨を書いて置いて観光に出かけ戻ってきたら蓋を外してセットし直してあり使えるようになってました。 多分、私の前の宿泊者も使えなかったが我慢してたのでないかとおもわれます。嫌がらせか？と思いました。部屋の掃除をする方の指導をきちんとして欲しいです。 その点が残念でしたが他は良かったです。

The property is dated. The bathroom are wrong designed. The doors can not open completely because there is a rack for tower behind it. So it put the towels far from the bath tube. There is not space for toiletries above the sink.

Somewhat disappointing
Some friends stayed here before the pandemic and raved about it, so we splurged for this hotel. It seems that things went downhill during the pandemic. Carpets and furnishings are quite faded. The first morning the shower head didn't work properly, resulting in a flooded bathroom to clean up (although maintenance was prompt in replacing the offending showerhead). However, the seals at the base of the glass shower door continued to leak, so the bathroom was rather dangerous for an older guest. The hairdryer was pathetic, the conditioner wouldn't rinse out, and the magnifying mirror was mounted on a wall away from any illumination. The service was okay, but less than I expect in a five star hotel.

The Grand Villa Argentina sits in a unique setting on the coast near Dubrovnik, at maybe 15min walking distance ! We had a sea-view room which offered a 180° view of the sea and of the citadell. If you want to stay in this hotel, hurry up, as the newer part of it will be entirely levelled in 2024 and rebuilt nearer to the coastal front (a pity, if you ask me...), reopening in 2025 ? The original Villa will stay and it's really a beautiful looking building in the old style, most probably entirely renovated after the war (1991-1995).

The location of the hotel and the ocean level outdoor pool distinguish this hotel from others. You can see the Old City form your room and the outdoor pool. 10 minutes walk along the ocean coast to the Old City is nice and pleasant. The only issue is the bathroom in the bedroom and the swimming pool/spa. They are dated and require renewal. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik.

we booked the superior double room with sea view, but the sea view was partially blocked by the trees and the shower room is very small with semi-circular shower cabin . It is so undated and doesn't match its 5 star hotel rating. The room is smaller than it appears on its website and the deco is very traditional. The swimming pool was closed during our visiting. However, the buffet of breakfast has many varieties of food and the spacious breakfast area has a stunning view of the old town.

Fantastic stay over several days! EXCELLENT hotel, grounds, staff, amenities, locatIon, and exceptionally clean. Easy 10 minute walk to the Old Town gate. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and large enough. No complaints at all, and would definitely stay there again.

The pool view and set up was excellent. We're fast walkers and were in the Old City in under 10 minutes, making the location perfect. The terrace area was great for the inclusive breakfast or drinks. The breakfast was great. Our room had a large and private balcony. The rooms are Old World, yet under the bed spread was a down feather duvete. The shower was more like a capsule size. My husband is 5'10" and did fine. The blow dryer was aweful. The staff was wonderful. I would go back again. The pool area was the biggest treat. It was great to get off an 11 hour flight and relax there before walking into the Old City.

Beautiful surroundings. Extensive grounds to the hotel. Good, clean bathing area. Easy access to Old Town. Sea views are fantastic. Thrilled with our choice to stay here.
