I was checked in by front desk James( he was very nice and attentive), which everything went smoothly despite the long queue as he is the only one on duty. Once I went to the room and found out there were blood stain on the bed sheet. It was midnight, so I waited until the day after to tell the front desk Jeraldine. She called housekeeping but unfortunately when I went back to the room at night the same bed sheet with blood stain is still there. Jeradine checked me out on my last day and I informed her housekeeping did not change the bed sheet and rarely a five start hotel have blood stain in the room. She was very nice, apologised and waived the 3 breakfast I’ve had. She informed her manager Islam after. Islam then asked if I’m from China, which does not relate to anything..... I’m not from China but does being Chinese stop you from apologising for your attitude? He made me felt like he was racist to Asians at that point. For being a duty manager, he should be well trained to handle situation like these. I asked for hotel general manager’s email and he wouldn’t give it to me, which is pretty unusual. The hotel location (Burj Khalifa and Dubai mall) and restaurants were great. I do like that the connecting rooms they have a door outside the two room doors which gives convenience to family travellers to walk around.
