There was NO HOT WATER for the complete stay, 2 nights.
When I complained about it I was told it was being worked on and might be up and running in about 1.5 hours, or so. That was on the first night. We were tired from traveling all day and took the plunge and took a cold shower. Brrrrr.
Checked on the water, throughout the night, still cold.
The same results the next day and night.
I chose this location because they had an indoor heated pool and no, since there was no hot water, it was cold as well. A total waste of my hard earned money.
I spent over twice the cost of what I was planning to spend, just for the pool, and am totally dissatisfied.
Every explanation was...it'll be fixed soon. It was still not working over 2 days later.
I truly suspect due to the renovations, there was a major issue, and the hot water has been out more than just our little stay there. Not very good management and preparation to accommodate paying customers.
They should have told us when we checked in in that there was no hot water and it'll probably be out for a few days. We would have chosen the less than half cost hotels to stay at.
I asked for compensation due to the situation and did not receive anything except for lip service...I'll let the manager know you asked for comp. That is as far as it went.
Time to write a letter to corporate.
Very dissatisfied.
