「The Prince of Wales is a lovely historic hotel. It met most of our expectations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and their nightly talks were entertaining. 「A very basic hotel with limited maintenance. The machine is gym is rust and not kept well. The swimming pool has excessive chlorine which is dangerous to health especially it is an indoor pool that the toxic gas cannot go anywhere. No lifeguard of course. I was the only user of the gym in the days I stay, and I didn’t see anyone using the pool. You can smell the hotel hasn’t cleaned their carpet for long (luckily not sticky, just very old).
