「A lovely overnight stay」

「Had a lovely time at Fonab Hotel. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Food was excellent (ate dinner and breakfast), and the spa was outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. 」

「The hotel is a wonderful old building that has been lovingly maintained. Our room was fine, everything was clean, tidy and worked and we got what we paid for. The restaurant was excellent. It had grandeur, it was flooded with light, offered views over the Tay, drink and food options were very good and reasonably priced. While there was no car park, one across the road offered reasonable rates and was convenient. The Discovery and V&A are a 5 min walk and are excellent. Why not a 5* rating? Like...

「Great place to stay with ample off street parking just a short walk into the town. Upgraded on arrival to a larger room with a spotless well designed en-suite. The large walk in shower however could have benefitted with a more powerful flow of water from the shower head. First place we stayed at during our trip where the food at the breakfast buffet was hot and you had hot plates for your food」

「We had a great stay! My wife was really impressed with the property and all that was to offer. We arrived early and we made use of the leisure facilities that were on the property. We had requested a crib for our son and this was in our lodge. We had also had to reschedule our dinner reservation and this was done without any issues. 「We have stayed at the Dunalastair a couple of times and really enjoyed each visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms very well appointed and clean. The lounge areas are great and we also liked the restaurant and the food. The hotel and area is also very quiet. Nice views of Schiehallion too! Recommended for sure.」

「Stayed here for the Saturday night with the mrs. Rooms were very nice and bed and furniture were comfortable. Very nice location! Pool and spa was excellent for being in an hotel! Only downside was having to pay for a hot breakfast when the room we bought came with breakfast included, so that spoiled things a little. Cooked breakfast should be included when it says breakfast included so a bit false advertising for me.」
