「For a budget hotel, it is worthwhile. Clean and warm room. Don’t expect too much, no electric kettle, teabags or coffee, table, chairs at room. Small room for putting one luggage suitcase. 」

「The hotel is inside the University Park which isn’t convenient to us. Environment is good , the room is neat and tidy but isn’t spacious. Breakfast is good. 」

「The only real disappointment was our dinner. The food was tasty but it wasn’t as described on the menu-my seasonal veg was two spring onions, my tarragon jus was gravy and our children’s fish bites were just cheap fish fingers!! We were 2.5hours for two courses….it was very slow. The hotel room was clean and the nature trail outside was lovely. The outside grounds were perfect for a stroll before dinner. All the staff were welcoming. 」

「The room was a little dated, lovely corner bath but the jets weren’t working on it, no shower in the room which would have been handy. Lovely 4 poster bed, but the mattress was way too soft. Restaurant was lovely and the quality of the food was great. We used the spa and the gym the following day, the spa was very modern, great facilities and very clean.」

「The hotel is moden and well laid out with everything you need for a stay. The rooms are large, clean and well looked after. But the biggest standout were the staff, everyone is so friendly and fo out of their way to help. Tip top service from all of them well done」

「Ventilation was poor, we had no access to go onto the balcony due to door being locked. There was no windows in the room. No source of natural air. Not sure why dogs were allowed in the restaurant and it wasn't not a guide dog. 」

「Tt's basically a travellers place to stay for an evening or two I would say. Having said that, it's also a good location if you want to use it to explore the area by car. I found the reception fine, the small bar area was fine - but shock horror no Guinness. I booked two rooms, a double for me and my wife and a room, with single beds, for my daughter. Somehow that got reversed, so a bit more attention to detail. Both rooms were clean, fresh and functional. Huge bath in ours and good water...
