The gentleman that checked us in was nice and on the older side. Everything was going good until he walked out to our car after giving us a room key and said he gave us the wrong one. We said no big deal, he handed up the new key and apologized. We drove over to the new room and got out when he came back out and said sorry again that he actually did give us the right key the first time. We switched keys again and went back over to the first room we were very sketched out at this point and did not feel comfortable staying there. We ended up staying somewhere 45 minutes outside of town since it was so last minute. We had already paid so we were down almost $90 but we didn’t feel comfortable there and we knew we wouldn’t have gotten much sleep that night. The property was very clean and the rooms were a lot more updated than we thought they were going to be. We did walk into the room just to check it out and it was super nice. It’s just down from there shops on their Main Street and there’s lots of things to do in the city. It’s a good motel we just didn’t have a good experience there.

When I read the bad reviews for this hotel I thought what do you expect from a cheap hotel. Well, checking in with a reservation the clerk asked me for my name three times. I spelled it phonetically but he finally had to get his manager before they could find me. The sheets had crumbs on them like someone had eaten graham crackers in bed. I was already in bed and asleep and having forgotten to lock the door someone barged into the room. I shut and locked the door and a few minutes later the manager knocked on the door and wanted to know who was in the room.

When we arrived to the room the door was wide open…to air it out? Mold on the shower curtain. Dirt everywhere… there appeared to be blood on one of the complimentary shampoo.

Checked in around 4. They had to search for a clean room. Manager (the guy who checked us in) didnt know how to use the computer to find the reservation. Just asked for proof from my phone. I agree with other comments on the hotel site about his attitude (also left a review there). Ended up checking out 2 days early (so only stayed one night). The place would honestly be a great place to stay if they got new management, staff and updated everything in the rooms. With all of the bad reviews, the owner should have taken over by now if they cared
