The bed was very bad. We felt both the same. The breakfast was ok but not more than ok. The pool was a bit dirty. Maybe because no one seems to used it except me when I was there.

Old property and things are falling apart. Needs major renovation, food is not good at all. The food quality is very low and one surprising thing is breakfast room service is 25,000 shillings, it means if you decide to have breakfast in your room they will a charge you room service 25,000($12). I find this ridiculous especially if you look at the food they serve.

Large comfortable room, excellent air conditioning and great staff. Has a nice (small) pool and gym. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice. Overall, good value for money. Will come back again.

Skønt hotel. De pæne og rene værelser er velindrettet med store, gode senge, hyggelig stue med køkken samt en dejlig terresse med stole/bord. Personalet er smilende og har fokus og opmærksomhed rettet mod deres gæster. Restauranten er særlig god. Den har et bredt menukort og opfylder et hvert behov, hvis man sætter pris på god og veltilberedt mad. Morgenmaden er rigelig med et stort udvalg. Swimmingpool er ren og velholdt uden larm. Kan varmt anbefales.

Everything was good, only hot water was not enough I had to run the water for approximately 5 minutes to get warmer, I did notified front desk and no one come to fix it

I had a severe allergic reaction the 2nd night, which can only be attributed to something related to the bed covers, please check that out, other than that I would recommend everything about this hotel. Thanks!!

Der Geruch im Zimmer war als wäre es ein Raucherzimmer, lag wohl an den alten Möbel. Auf den Bilder macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck, aber dies hat wenig mit der Realität gemeinsam. Das schlimmste war aber das Personal. Wir mussten um 12 Uhr auschecken und fragten ob wir irgendwo vor der Abreise um 21 Uhr noch kurz duschen dürften, z.B. im Gym oder beim Pool. Das einzige was uns das Hotel anbieten konnte ist das Zimmer noch einen Tag zu bezahlen, da dies beim Check-Out ab 18 Uhr üblich sei. Und da die Dusche im Zimmer ist müssen wir für eine kurze Dusche einen Tag das ganze Zimmer für $100 bezahlen. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt, es war immer möglich irgendwo kurz zu duschen. Wir sind dann zu einem anderen Hotel mit Strand und Restaurant gefahren, wo wir kostenlos Duschen benutzen durften und auch noch Tücher bekamen. Dieses Hotel werde ich bestimmt nicht mehr buchen und auch allgemein bei Marriott an diese schlechte Erfahrung denken.

Our family was on a business trip with children along. The apartment was spacious but out of date, especially the bathroom. The staff were responsive to any issues and made a major service recovery effort after we raised on issue. Good assortment of food and very good location.

Nice place to stay in Dar
Stayed for a couple nights with friends. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Overall I enjoyed the stay but our AC unit wasn’t working properly and the shower door wasn’t sealed tight so water easily leaked all over the bathroom floor.

Good stay
Met by a huge cockroach skirting across the wall--we killed it. They came (we did not call them) and sprayed and no further issues. Lovely people. Shower leaked--they gave us extra towels. Facility is not new! We liked all the food we ate in the restaurant, especially appreciate the healthy avocado toast offered for breakfast.

Clean and friendly.
It was good, spacious, clean. The AC went out in the morning but we were leaving so we just reported it. Shower head was broken but we could shower anyway.

Nice, comfortable stay
Basic, decent hotel. Just what was expected. It had a small gym, nice swimming pool and is a short jog from the beach. Breakfast is basic too, but everything you will need.

Very practical, functional place to stay. Good sized room with even a small kitchen. Hot water never worked despite a visit from a mechanic. Very friendly staff. Room overlooked parking lot - not scenic - but there's a nice pool area. Very good breakfast; ok dinner. If you want a more scenic, charming Protea, choose the Protea Courtyard, which is a few km away.
