There was a giant burned garbage pile outside along with trash lining the entire back of the building. The windows all lacked screens. The beds sounded like they would fall apart if someone moved on them. There was also a giant crack in the floor of the bathtub where water freely drained and it felt like you would fall through the floor. The staff were very kind though and helpful. The room was clean - but definitely in dis-repair.

Check in takes a while if you have to add a pet to your stay, there is an extra $15 charge for them. I don’t know if this is a California thing? I have never had to pay for a pet to stay with me. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We slept well. The breakfast options were, waffles with butter and jam, two chooses of cereal, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, apple and coffee. I appreciate that they were kind enough to put us in the room 103 which looked over the harbor. In the morning we opened the window and could hear the sea lions along the breakwater. It was a great affordable place to visit. Thank you!

DON'T STAY HERE! This room, service, and motel was less than satisfactory. The room was old, no carpet, hard bed. The crack under the door to the outside was at least an inch tall. The shower looked to be at least 50 years old. The bathroom doorknob did not fit the hole it was placed in. The bathroom light was paired with a very, very noisy fan. The "breakfast" was less than "continental"-No muffins/bagels-just sliced store-bought bread. The only fruit was a couple apples. A few tiny yogurts. The coffee was terrible tasting. The wi-fi password only lasts 24 hours, then you need a new one. I tried to call the office from 8 pm until 10 pm to get a new password. NOBODY ANSWERED.

The receptionist was sitting behind a counter that was about 5 feet tall. I told her I was hard of hearing and it would help if I could see her face/mouth, but she continued to sit. Our room smelled like cigarettes and when I called the front desk to tell them, nobody answered the phone. I called the next morning to ask about breakfast, it was pouring rain and my room was located far from the breakfast area. Of course, nobody answered. Beds were rock hard. Location was nice, room was OK except for smoke smell.

The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. The road noise was loud and the bed was hard for my preference. Looks like there are repairs or something going so the property looked odd. But over all if you need a place to stay after a long day of driving it will do the trick.

The rooms looked semi clean, but when I put a towel down that was wet it picked up dirty and made muddy spots on the floor. I wiped the floor down twice and the towel was nasty. When I told the front desk, the girl told me they cleaned the floor earlier that day. I showed the towel and she was very sassy about it.

I felt the front desk was below standard both in attitude and helpfulness. Not knowing the services available in your immediate area is substandard. I had mobility issues and it appeared downstairs. The units were available. I was not given that option. The stairway was also unsafe presenting a trip hazard on the loose, non-skid material attached to the tread. Also bathroom doors opened inward, forcing you to step into the shower to close the restroom door in the room and easy fix reverse the hinges.
