「My husband and I had spent a very special week in Jūrmala at the Aparthotel Wooden Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, staff and proximity to the downtown Jūrmala/beach area. Our apartment was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our week there. Would highly recommend staying at the Wooden Villa, especially for a longer stay. 」

「Nice and clean hotel. Polite people at front desk. Got my room earlier than official check in time, which was a plus. Nice room. I think (can’t fully remember) that I requested a double bed instead of two single beds (which I got), but I didn’t bother that much. Good lunch and breakfast. 」

「Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice.」
