Thank you for your feedback. The incidental deposit does vary by property, and we do release it upon checkout. It can take on average 3-5 business days to release on your bank side, but it can also depend on the bank and take up to 14 days to be released. The hotel releases it upon checkout, but then we have to wait on your bank to release the hold. There is no way for the hotel to determine the length of time the bank will take or release it any faster, our apologies. We will certainly pass on the notes about the hallway, as we strive to have all common areas clean and clear of debris, thank you for letting us know.

The hotel's refund or satisfaction guarantee is 'if we cannot fix it we will provide compensation' so the staff's immediate effort to come up and clean the sink properly was our way of attempting to make it right. We certainly work to honor a request from guests if they prefer service early in the day. We typically would not be that late coming to clean, we do apologize.
