我预定时看见名称上有希尔顿，就认为应该不错，然而入住之后感觉和真正的希尔顿酒店差距很大。先说优点：地理位置不错，到哪儿都很方便；大部分服务人员态度可亲。下面就要说说缺点了：1.房间不大，卫生间尤其小，只能容一人在里面，两个人站里面就挪不开身。2. 房间服务真的需要提高，我们一共住了六天，第一天没有给拖鞋，第二天忘了放地巾还少给了一条毛巾，第三天忘了放洗脸小毛巾。3. 早餐真的是一成不变，连吃六天让人有点崩溃。而且也没有任何现做的食物，常常东西没有了也不能及时添加。我酒店住了不少，但很少写评论，第一次写了这么多，真的是和预期差距有点大，而且房价也不低，这样的条件和服务与价格相比，只能说遗憾。请大家看清酒店英文名称，凯恩斯当地还有一家希尔顿，那家就叫Hilton，而这家叫Doubletrees by Hilton，不要只看中文名称。

the location is good and have a beautiful sea view. The only thing you need to bear in mind is this is an old hotel.......The room is small, bathroom is small, facilities are old.

We upgraded the room to the King bed with water view, but after we checked in and get to our room. The room’s view was totally different than what we expected as well as what’s being show in the photos. The room we get was on a lower floor and the tree outside blocked all the view. The only good thing here are the staff, all of them are super nice and friendly. Room wise, very disappointed.

Almost the best hotel we have stayed in.
Staff are very friendly. Room was nicely laid out with a balconey view to Cairns Harbour. Down Side: No WIFI unless you signed up for the Hilton program. No way to connect laptop to TV, denying access to streaming services. Excellent breakfast, but nothing in the room to make even a cup of soup. Access to a microwave was by means of going to reception with your food you want reheated and get them to reheat it for you. Only food after breakfast was by expensive meals via 'The Vine' from 6.30pm till 8:30pm. Closest access to a food outlet was a 20 minute walk. No mention of a $200-250 holding deposit once you register with reception upon arrival. That was a big surprise.

Good hotel that is getting old and it shows. Being a Hilton partner the service and standar is high. Breakfast was a bit under the standard and the hotel is becoming old. Would stay there again.

Overall, a good hotel. Great location and easy access. A great view of the ocean from the room with a beautiful area with trees and a pond in the center of the hotel. Free parking on the street right in front of the hotel. Bed was comfortable with a nice big shower. We found a small live roach in the bathroom when we arrived. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful but it took a long time for each transaction.

Hi, I've yet to reach out to the hotel since I arrived in my country, the USA, on Jan 6th after checking out on the morning of Jan 6th. Upon checkout late in the afternoon, I found several bed bug bites all over my body, including my neck, torso, arms, legs, and feet. They were extremely itchy and painful, and I needed medical attention once I got to my home country later that evening. They prescribed medication and painkillers. I did not have these bites when I checked in. Could you let me know what you will do about this? It has been extremely agonizing throughout my flight, and even upon landing, I had to visit the ER with a high fever and extreme rash and get prescription painkillers. I'll never stay at a Hilton again. I've reached out to hotel management and awaiting their next step on this. Very disappointed with Hilton

Room service wasn’t great, lasagna was over cooked - really dry and hard, fish & chips - fish was like KFC. We saw a cockroach in the room. The two of the light switches weren’t working. We liked beds - nice and comfortable. Overall, it wasn’t what we expected, doesn’t worth the price. We were so disappointed, won’t come back.
