The front line manager lady was so rude and unprofessional. I have never seen anyone with that bad behaviour in a front line job. The receptionists both at night time and day time were good. I don’t know how they are still smiling with this arrogant manager around. When I was talking to her she didn’t even bother to look at my face but looked somewhere and tried to avoid the conversation. I asked her if it is possible to change the booking to a different date due to my appointment date at the hospital got changed.
When I asked the receptionist over the phone she said it’s not a problem. When Expedia contacted the hotel, they denied. So I want to talk to them in person.
She knows that I am a doctor as I explained about the situation. To my horror, she said she also got a medical degree (not related to the topic or her job), knows which appointment can be changed or not. She said she will never book her room via Expedia and it’s people like us always try to book rooms on a cheap price. She should have just said a “No” but she chose to humiliate in front of everyone.
I am a gold member and the discount is for all VIP members. I didn’t opt for that discount, as for me the top priority is a nice, clean hotel with 4 or 5 stars rating.
I told her I am not asking for a refund or demanding the cancellation or change over, all I am trying to do is having a conversation and explaining the situation. She said repeatedly she will never book via Expedia and doesn’t care now.
