Resorte Marinha Dourada
Hotellet är stort med flera byggnader. Det ligger vackert vid 2 små sjöar. Hotellet har 2 pooler. Rummet var stort och jag hade en vacker utsikt. Hotellet är 3 stjärnigt och jag visste inte vad jag ska förvänta mig. Så här upplevde jag min vistelse. Sängen var mycket hård och jag fick ont i ryggen. Frukosten var snål rostat bröd, marmelad i små förpackningar, några indiska rätter, pulverkaffe, ingenting var gratis, jag fick betala mycket även för en flaska vatten. Det fanns ingen vattenkokare i rummet. Hotellet passar inte för ensamresenärer som jag utan körkort för varken bil eller motorcykel. Det tar 30 minuter att promenera från stranden, dit kan man få åka bil (och kanske tillbaka om man har tur och någon har åkt till stranden.

Marinha Dourada
Stunning lakes surrounding the rooms where you are able to fish. Bats and birdwatchers heaven.Friendly attentive staff and mostly British holiday makers. Adequate breakfast and easy to get out and about around the local area. I would return.

The property has bugs or mosquitoes and I couldn't sleep the first night due to that. There is no accomodation for a room at the ground floor level and I was given a room on the 4th floor with no elevator. The staff at the front desk is rude and unprofessional. We left after staying there for a day, based on what the hotel said and the staff would not give us an exit bill and said Expedia would give us that. Later the hotel refused to return the money for the entire stay. This gives all hotels in Goa a bad name and the front desk person should understand that tourism thrives when there is politeness and truth. I would never stay at this property. Beware.

Wi-fi is useless, if you need it, don’t stay here
Staff, restaurant, pool and location all great but a couple of really irritating things you should know. They charge 70p a night for a hairdryer which really is an irritant but the Wi-fi is not available in the rooms and virtually non-existent in the reception, so if you take, (which is frustrating)WiFi for granted, you won’t here believe me. Great food at a great price. Service great location really good.

If you Need Wi-fi, FORGET THIS PLACE. 56KBPS
Room a bit dated but ok, location good, , pool great, restaurant staff and food excellent, bar staff and prices great, staff overall brilliant, But annoying things are they charge 70P per day for a hairdryer, which is rather irritating and WIFi is almost non existent at download speeds of maximum 56 KBPS, Which, even for India is useless. And You have to go to reception for that, as there is nothing in the rooms, so if you need to be in touch with friends and family either pay £6 a day to Vodafone or forget it, if you’re on Vodafone that is 😂

Pleasant Three3-Star place to stay. Great swimming pool and easy access to beach. Dining room menu is limited. No Wi-Fi in rooms but it is available in the reception area.

Enjoyable stay
Great relaxing stay at the Marinha again......we loved it....just needs wifi installing throughout the hotel as poor and only available in reception at moment. Please use Mr Veen just outside the hotel to change your money.......he is the most honest, trustworthy guy you could ever wish to meet.

Peaceful yet average hotel with nice lake view
A big property with two nice lakes in it. If you are travelling to Goa for leisure, fun and experience, this is not the property you should be opting for. However, if you are looking for peace and tranquility, this would be one of the best places to be in. Rooms are spacious but not maintained that well as you would expect at the price you pay for this hotel. The amount I paid in this resort was not worth! Basic amenities were missing in the room like kettle, iron, hair dryer, wifi, etc. Wifi was a big disappointment as I did not expect it to be not available in the room. Breakfast options were very limited too! Room locks remind you of 90's. Seems not got changed for years. In one of our rooms (G48), we were able to manually maneuver the lock (you dont need key to unlock it), this was quite shocking! Hotel Staff in general are nice and friendly.

Nice Hotel property. Thanks To Hotel.com for giving us very good deal. It was value for money. Location was good . Room & Overall property was clean. Some advice for hotel to improve : Food Test - It was not up to the mark as food test was not good. Amenities - As compare to size of property, Pool size was very small. Even there was no indoor game zone for entertainment. Bed Size : Though room size was big , bed size was very small . Overall marks:- 7 out of 10 I would have given 8 but 1 mark is deducted for food test & small Bed size.

Pleasant stay
- Baga beach is about 1.6 km -Taxi services is just outside the hotel -Big,Green rich property with a nice private lake. - very peaceful stay -safe even for family. - nicely maintained -clean swimming pools -staff behaviour is good. -Breakfast variety and quality are required improvement. -make your own itinerary, don't expect any suggestions from hotel staff. -Rooms are ok.

Strongly recommended affordable Place
We researched this location on internet and the result came out to be simply outstanding . . . . The staff was very cooperative, front office people were accomodative. The place is stunningly huge and the lake in the Hotel was something which came as pleasant complementary . . . We were supported with our extra shuttle bus survice, extended time for restaurant which came as tourist friendliness of Goans . . . I will surely stay in the same hotel when I visit Goa next time .. And for the man of the house, one more sweet point is that the stay is affordable . . . .

comfort, style, affordability
Conveniently situated: close to the night market, village and Baga beach (Free shuttle). Wonderful gardens and lakes. Great service, nice staff. Rooms are old fashioned but the beds are unusually comfortable. Good quality-price ratio.

Good Location but....
The hotel is in a good location by a lake and close to the beach but it is aimed at package holiday guests. There is entertainment every night which is extremely loud and can be heard in the rooms and this goes on until midnight some nights. The rooms are a decent size but are in need on decorating. The swimming pools are nice and fortunately when I stayed it was not too crowded during the daytime although other guests told me that during the previous week if you did not have your towel on a sunbed by 8am then you would not get a sunbed!

Hidden Charges
Aside from a hidden 3000 Rps per person New Years eve banquet charge, the hotel was quite nice. They had in very small print that we would be charged 3000 Rps for a New Years eve event even though we didn't want to attend. They even discounted it down fron 4000 Rps as they had other gusts complain of the same hidden charges.

Quiet .. Beautiful .. Exceptional value!
Excellent getaway. Beautiful resort .. Large lakes adjacent to it, and 3 pools on site. Calm and quiet, but close to the action. Food is ok .. But you get a decent breakfast spread. Calangute beach is quite close by. Nice restaurants in the vicinity. Excellent value. Highly recommended. Will stay there again, and recommend to all our friends.

Experience of staying in this hotel was like feel of five star i would always recommend to this property to my friends family or who so ever wants to go goa please stay in this hotel as i start from the day of arrival we reached hotel and as entered found wide open eyes beautiful lake and totally green garden with beautiful flowers and it has two lake inside the hotel and three swimming pool one bar which is pool and lake facing i like that its just 1.5 km from calangute beach and 1 km from baga beach and it has nice and peaceful view with good restorent near by the hotel where you can get really tasty food ayurveda doctor clinic is near by like on walking distance and you can get easily scooty and taxi for roaming in goa it has nice food menu and almost have all the variety of food staff is nice and polite i would always recommend this

The Food was pathetic and tasteless. The room service is bad and costly. They charge too much which is definitely not worth the kind of food you get.

Great stay at great prices
We stayed at this resort for the second time and it was same experience as before. Though the facilities provided and the the property is pretty good, the staff there is somewhat cold and slightly rude. There is no smile on the faces of the staff at reception or inside staff that makes you feel that you are not at a happy place. On the day we stayed there was a fight between one of the guests and the hotel staff on some issue which was not a great sight. I don't know the reason but would have expected the hotel staff management to have managed the situation but it did not happen and and the fight continued for almost 30mins. The hotel staff was very rude to the lady and a small kid with the couple which was not expected. Anyway our stay was ok but in one of the rooms the AC did not work properly. When we brought this to staff'a notice they tried to rectify but did not help!! Since that was the last night we did not make it a issue as we were too tired and slept like that only. Breakfast served is good but could be better. Overall an average stay with just one advantage of being close to Baga beach. If you have a vehicle it's not a problem.

We stayed in this resort for three days, facilities like swimming pool and bar are very good. It is a beautiful and scenic place close to nature. Hotel staff is very good and responsive. The complimentary breakfast could have been better in terms of variety in Menu on weekdays. Rooms were nice and clean, only problem was with the location of AC in our room - it was too far from the bed so the real cooling starts only after an hour. There was a sandwich counter next to the pool which was very good.

Hotel staffs are very good. Matteress is very old and it has bugs. Room is big but look and feel is bad. Room is similar third grade cheap hotel.

Good things: 1. Very good place to roam around...good scenery, lakes, swimming pools. 2. Breakfast is ok 3. Free Bus ride to baga beach 4. Clean bathrooms Bad things: 1. Ac remote not provided..call reception to send an ac person to do the settings 2. Poor food specially for indians and expensive too 3. Expensive: inspite of such high room fees, you will need to pay extra for almost everything.. Even wifi!

We have stayed at the Hotel on two occasions. Our last stay in January 2014 was in the older section of the Hotel as we had requested a room closer to the Reception area of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would retrun again.

Returning Again & Again
This is a great hotel and an excellent location. You can come back to it and leave the madness of India outside the gates but there are enough places to eat outside and nearby to keep you busy. The staff are wonderful, the palm trees around the lake sway in the breeze and the pools are a good size. My niggles are that there are televisions in every bar - football most nights - and there is no where now to get a quiet drink and watch the sun go down. I've returned three times and will probably go back again! The Russians are coming and the British less and less.

Looks more beautiful than seeing photos on web. surrounded by beautiful lake, good activities for children. All rooms with balcony that I liked the most. Balcony towards pool side made the stay even better. Rooms are also very nice and clean, very well maintained. Looks nicely renovated, still somework has to be done with bathroom and some extra amenities were also missing. Restaurants are fine with good food. Breakfast needs to be improved. People were nice at hotel and reception and very welcoming. Bit inside and far from main city. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere..Baga beach is very near by. A nice Resorte to stay and relax...will come for sure

Good Hotel to stay
The hotel is very good. All services are satisfactory . The food we have not tasted. So we don't know about food. But we do had Breakfast which was satisfactory. Ovrerall good location near Calgunte and baga beach. The parking is an issue. the hotel doesn't have dedicated parking. We parked our car near open area of hotel . They should have dedicated parking considering very huge premises of hotel.

A very decent hotel. though a bit secluded from the beaches but beaches are pretty accessible from the same A very calm and pleasant environment with an excellent view of the lake and pool from the rooms makes it even more appealing the food is very good we had tried \only the vegetarian food which was good

The location is excellent and the hotel is a good value for money. But they need to pay more attention to cleanliness. Also, the TV never works! I wouldn't mind staying here again. In fact this was my second stay here.

Rooms are neat and clean. But If you are Indian they will put you in wing which is comparatively old. Room service is prompt. Major problem with this hotel is food. Complementary Break fast is pathetic and lunch/Dinner is too costly and not at all worth of money. The only plus point of the hotel is its location just 2 Km away from baaga beach situated in between the salt lakes looks good in the photos they have pasted in website but not so great in reality

Anlegget var veldig fint og ligger i rolige omgivelser. To store vanndammer med tilgang til robåt og fiskemuligheter var tilgjengelig for gjestene i tillegg til 2 store svømmebassenger og ett lite basseng. Restaurant med god mat og underholdning enkelte kvelder. Eget frokostrom med enkel frokost. Savnet en liten butikk og muligheter for å kjøpe småting. All mat og varm drikke måtte bestilles fra hotelles restaurant og enten spises der eller leveres som romservice. På de to barene tilhørende området var det kun kald drikke å kjøpe.

Great Hotel, Awesome Location, cheap price
stayed here in Nov 09, the hotel was very nice and clean, has 2 lakes inside the complex where you can enjoy fishing. Rooms are nice and big, breakfast was basic, had eggs, cornflakes, juice, milk, poha, toasts etc
