We chose this hotel as it is the only one at Shin-Aomori Station and we wanted to stay near here as we were going to take the shinkansen after 2 days. However, while we had requested for a room on a higher floor, we were shocked to learn that we were assigned a room on the second floor upon check in. Staff were not very helpful at first and insisted that there were no rooms left when we requested for a room change. Only when we showed them that we had indeed put in a request for a higher floor that they reluctantly changed it for us. Breakfast was very simple and not a lot of options. Location was very convenient but this is the hotel's only plus point. Overall, I will only stay here in the future if I have to take the shinkansen, otherwise I would rather stay at hotels near aomori station instead.

Convenient location to Shinkansen station for overnight stay travelling to Hokkaido , especially with breakfast included. Overall good value . Limited dining options around hotel , need to take short ride on local train to Aomori .

Very clean hotel and new hotel. I had a good deal for a single room. Including free (basic) breakfast. Good Shinkansen View for those train nerds out there. 2min walk to the station.1 stop from Aomori Station.

Great option for train riders.
A very clean and convenient hotel next to the Shin-Aomori train station. Check-in and check-out are easy. Nice simple free breakfast with several choices.

It's very convenient to walk to Shin-Aomori station as its just across the hotel, it also gives free breakfast. The cons is, the check in is very late(4pm).

Convenient location: the property is located a short walk away from the Shin-Aomori JR station. Bit disappointed with my check-in experience: I was told that check-in started at 4 PM (it was 3:55 PM). However other guests were being checked in. Walls are thin: I heard banging throughout the night. Can also hear people using the toilet, hair dryers (the dryers are wall-mounted in the room, not bathroom). My toilet randomly flushed throughout the night and at times, the water had this red coloring. If you are just looking for an affordable place to stay that is close to the JR station, this is a good option.

Location is next to the train station, we could only stay in Aomori for 1 night so this location was excellent. We were able to take local train to the town for the short visit and had great seafood.

Far from the center. Check in not until 4p. Check out 10am. Had to fight for my bicycle to stay with me, even through they didn't have a secure room to store it. Not worth the money saved by staying here. Do yourself a favor and stay more in the center. 2 stars because staff was very kind.

The hotel is just less than 5 mins from the JR station. There are good restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The free breakfast was good. The service staff ensured the food was replenished. The room was small - as expected from this hotel chain.

We stayed in this hotel for one night during the festival in Aomori. The hotel is right next to the Shin-Aomori train station, a 7-minute train ride from Aomori. It served its purpose perfectly. We arrived early, left our luggage and took the train to Aomori. Came back after the festival, the luggage was already in our room. The room was comfortable and the next day we continued by train to the festival in Akita. They serve a free breakfast, which is not something to write home about.

The female staff was not very helpful with our parking. One of the male staff was very helpful to help us in checking the ferry to Hakodate. One thing we like is the free breakfast was good and simple. The room was small.

When we arrived at the hotel we tried to pull into the parking lot for the hotel, but it was full so we were told to park at one of the other pay lots near by. You have to pay for parking at the hotel anyway, but when you used the 3rd party pay lot you have to pay every time you leave. One nice thing is when I checked in they scanned my ticket and it gave me 100 Yen off. The overall appearance of the hotel was clean and newer, however when we got into our room it was extremely hot and humid. There was a strong musky smell that was most likely mold, but kind of smelled like cat urine to me. Once we got the AC going and cool/dehumidified the room, the odor wasn't quite as bad. During the night however, my allergies started acting up really bad and I was coughing a lot. The bed was your standard hard Japanese business hotel bed. And the pillows were the type that are semi soft on one side, and the hard beads on the other. Neither provided great comfort. They do have an included breakfast, which is nice. But overall, I wouldn't stay here again.
