It was in an excellent location and had several eco-friendly features I liked, including no maid visits for three days if you choose, low flush toilets, electrical outlets and lights that only work with your card key, all sorts of things. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were compact but provided everything you needed. Fully recommend.

I had the smallest bathroom possible on the 1st day which they switched me to a bigger room the next day when i complained. But i had booked this hotel looking at the pictures and paid more for the bigger room. I told the staff abt this but they did nothing. Basically, i was charged the same amount for all nights even though my 1st night wasn't spent in the room i paid more for

The price of the property is a rip off. My hotel room was very worn out, small, old, and smelly. It was nothing similar to the higher scale pictures advertised in Expedia. When i complained to the front desk they told me that all the rooms with canal view are old. It was very disappointing as i paid an expensive price for the room. It felt i was in a hostel. Be aware that you have the option to have a renovated room but it wont have a canal view. The staff was very polite. I won't be going back to that hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, all staff we saw were very friendly. On the downside we were a bit dissappointed that during the three nights we stayed we had no house keeping in the room, there were peanuts under the chair from previous guests, no daily towel change, no clean cups or replenishing of supplies for the coffee machine and the window wouldn't shut properly. Given the price we expected a bit more. All said it was a comfortable stay.

Great location with the nicest, most accommodating staff. On the main floor you'll find a bar, convenience store, and pool table. Room was great and quiet. Only con is the door to the restroom which isn't flush. Also the restroom was small. Didn't really overshadow the awesomeness of the hotel overall. I would stay there again. 10/10.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel im Stadtgebiet von Amsterdam. In unmittelbarer Umgebung sind eine Metrohaltestelle und eine Tramhaltestelle. Vieles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel macht auch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Einziges kleines Manko wäre eine Minibar im Zimmer die gefehlt hat und wir hatten eine Badewanne statt einer Dusche. Aber das ist alles jammern auf hohem Niveau. Im gesamten ein Hotel was ich jeden empfehlen kann.

GREAT HOTEL, EXCELLENT LOCATION - Our group of 8 (all from Canada) stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to our river cruise; we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Our rooms overlooked the Amstel Canal! The hotel is walking distance to everything (coffee, food, shopping)! Everything (literally) was at the hotel’s doorstep! Plus, the staff were great! We all (all 8 of us!) loved the Eden - I’d highly recommend it!

Beautiful rooms very comfortable and most importantly is the way the handle any issues that you might have with your room. Joseph at the reception is very professional and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and he offered it to us to compensate the issue we had with the sink which he managed to sort out very quickly. All and all highly recommended hotel.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eden. The staff was very accommodating and polite. It was convenient as there was store and a café in the hotel. The location was ideal, right in Rembrandt Square, walkable to so many places I would recommend this to anyone that’s going to visit Amsterdam.

Our first stay at the Eden for the Easter weekend. As we arrived to the hotel (which is easily accessible to the main square and attractions), we were welcomed by the lovely reception staff. We also kindly spoke to the hotel public relations staff who upgraded our room as we didn't have a view. It was a perfect touch to our lovely stay! See you soon x

Very conveniently located, friendly staff and eager to help. Rooms are fine, clean with very comfortable beds (in the newly refurbished wing). Bathroom is practical but not enough light, and towels need renewing, ours were very worn. Will return.

This was a convenient place to stay and the rooms were clean. When I hopped in the shower, the body wash dispenser had not been topped up. It was empty, as was the toilet paper dispenser - a magical combination. Also, cleaning staff never cleaned the room between days, so we had to rinse out the coffee cups for re-use. The room was a nice size and staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable as well. Their cleaners need to be more attentive to topping up supplies.
