The property is clean and well maintained. Great food especially the breakfast buffet. Staff was ok room service was efficient. Other were not as efficient. We were told we had a hotel dropoff with our club room. Asked the staff to make sure it was arranged. Two members said was and when it was time to go ot was not. At check in we were told a 1pm check-out was fine again the day of departure they said it was not.

Exceptional service from all departments, I would definitely recommend this hotel for stay in Amritsar to enjoy the surroundings; golden temple, airport, shopping mall etc.

Poorly managed and run hotel. Rooms are poorly stocked. Faulty/ used items not repaired and replaced. This hotel at best is 4 star and would not recommend it as a 5 star hotel.

I’ve stayed at the Taj in the summer and it was absolutely fantastic however this time I found it was lacking. The room wasn’t clean, sheet was stained , shower doors dirty and lots of dust on top of all areas. I found even the staff was a little lacking this time. I don’t usually write reviews but I do really love this Hotel and I hope they improve on these areas and get back to a world class hotel it can be.

We would highly recommend this hotel - modern, clean, polite and attentive staff. We would particularly like to commend the restaurant staff - food was varied and delicious, the staff customised food for us at times and were incredibly attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 3 nights at Taj Amritsar and had an amazing time there. The most important part that made our stay pleasant was the staff, starting with doorman, reception, housekeeping and dining staff all made sure we had a hassle free stay. Special shout to duty manager Khuswant Singh, chef Ajay,Mukhtiar, Amandeep in dining. Gurinder Singh in housekeeping going above and beyond everyday. The property is clean and beautiful, the rooms are overall clean but can use some more detailed cleaning. Buffet breakfast can improve with more continental options and desert section. Kid friendly meals would help tremendously. Rooms should have smart TV in this day and age that's almost necessary! These are just some suggestions, nonetheless we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Impeccable service. A high security VIP was also at the hotel at the time of our stay and additional restrictions were placed on the hotel. But the staff went above and beyond to ensure that none of the guests were inconvenienced and provided excellent service. I was able to make all arrangements for our stay over email well in advance of our arrival. Airport pickup/dropoff and arrangements to tour the city all went to plan and without a hitch. Taj is flag bearer of excellent service and Taj Swarna has more than lived up to that reputation.

Everything about the property was great except for the beds. It was one of the worst beds I’ve slept on and gave both my wife and I back pain. Kind of ruined the experience since we left both with back pain.

We visited from Boston and stayed for one week at Taj Amritsar. The stay at the Taj Amritsar was fantastic. We were met with extremely polite and resourceful staff. They made us feel extremely welcome and always were ready to help at every instance. Included in our stay was daily complimentary breakfast at the buffet which had everything from American dishes to local street food. I can’t stress enough how amazing the staff and hotel was. The room was a deluxe king room that made us feel right at home. Included in the room was a very spacious bathroom, that was replenished daily with razors to shampoo. This is without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Amritsar! Also it’s close to the airport for an easy departure back home!

Overall wonderful experience. Would have been nice if I was told about some of the facilities and shown where they are at check in. The buttons for the lights were super sticky & shower head was broken, wasn’t a big deal because I used the overhead one but still would have been nice to have that working.

I checked in and my room wasnt ready upon arrival. One room was ready aprox an hr and a half after arrival and the other wasn't ready till 3 hours after arrival. Room was nice and staff was nice as well. Lobby in the bathroom needs to be up-kept more often as it was dirty. Breakfast had a lot of options and dinner was excellent although it took a while for the food to come.

Excellent experience (special thanks to Prabhjot, Rhythm, the workers at club lounge). My mother and i stayed 2 nights and realky enjoyed our stay. The location was great (walking distance to mall), the food id was brilliant. Would definitely stay again

Stay was really good and have to say the staff was impressive specially mukhtar and rishi at breakfast. Only issue I felt compared to other taj property I have stated is the personal touch when checking in and the room just seemed so basic no personal arrival gift or cookies or personalized card etc. disappointing to say least Also the guy who took my luggage to the room deserves a special thanks though

I was surprised at the inconsistencies for such a high-star hotel. I received a complimentary gift, but my traveling partner did not. You had to pay for high-speed internet which is a surprise. The room was nice and very clean. The staff incredibly kind and helpful.

Amazing 10 day stay here. Great service and great staff. Had good time at the Peg and the Chinese room is great too. Breakfast was full of extra options to order. Would definitely like to re visit here.

if you are looking for a Taj experience this is not the property The building is in a poor shape The sauna and steam room not working Choice of flowers used for decoration pathetic The lobby is full of staff and managers but none want to meet you or talk to you they are just busy in something i have no clue The concierge has no clue of any travel attractions Even after talking this to siddarth one of the manager there is no change The room is good but all switches and electronics are quite outdated the F&B staff is the only saving point of the property some staff are still performing well Aashish and chef Ajay tried their best chauffer Ravi was great too Overall the staff need to check and train with oberoi and see what is the difference Taj you have lost one loyal customer of yours
