This Fairfield was right on I-40 in Amarillo. Our room was located more in the back of the building where it was quiet, away from I-40. The room was very nice and I loved the renovated bathroom! The newest section of the hotel was where the check-in desk and breakfast/bar area was located. Wow! That is a super nice space! The complimentary breakfast was the best around with nice options for everyone. We enjoyed the music that kept playing in the common areas as we walked about. If you’re in the area, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Great condition, staff, housekeeping. Did not like the low beds not enough parking. Also wanted to suggest designated parking area for 18 wheeler trucks, trucks with boats, any vehicles that would require more than one space

This is a property I will always stay at when I travel through Amarillo Tx. Front desk was welcoming and informative, hotel was beautiful and clean as well as my room. I requested first floor and they made that happen without hesitation. The bar was a nice place to relax after a 10 hr day on the road. Outside courtyard was another place to get outside and relax for a bit. My favorite place so far on my cross country journey.

We liked the staff. They were friendly, helpful and professional. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner in the restaurant. Our bed was comfortable and had lots of room in the bathroom. We will stay again.

Joining hotel with another hotel, sharing seemed like this hotel was a stepchild. Not fully staff, check in and breakfast at joining hotel.

Hello Johnny,We apologize that you felt the hotel was not a priority. Many Dual Brand Hotels use just one lobby. This change is to allow better staffing and handling of guest issues. We chose to use the larger lobby when consolidating.

This place is 2 hotels connected so that was a little confusing at first but not an issue. The staff was very friendly and they have a beautiful restaurant next to the lobby. I cant speak to the food but breakfast was great, something for everybody and it was very fresh. I'd come back for the breakfast alone! My room was clean and comfortable for my family of 4, bathroom was clean and overall the hotel seemed new or recently remodeled. The overall area is OK. Could be a little sketchy but the parking lot is lit up like Christmas so we felt our vehicle was safe. If you stay here, eat at Tequilas and/or Pork N Things.

The front entry clerk offered to bring up coffee which wasn’t yet made when we arrived. I thought that was so nice of him. My husband had to take the luggage cart back so he got it, but it was so nice that the clerk offered!

Burnt Toast Made the Fire Alarm Go Off…In Our Room
Let me tell you the tale of room 112. This room is right off of the lobby and has to be one of the loudest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. When we arrived to check in line was so long it was out the front door. We drew the short straw, otherwise known as room 112. This room not only gives all of the noise of the lobby but also noise of all of the traffic going to the elevator and as an extra bonus all of the traffic noise from the parking lot too. At about 1 am it finally quieted down, but at 6 am we were once again greeted by all of the screaming children. There was a steady stream of noise until at 9 am someone burned toast at their breakfast and it set off the fire alarm in our room. At that point we decided to cut our losses and just get up after our restless night. When we checked out the guy at the front desk acted like our experience was normal. I will definitely be choosing a different hotel from now on! May the odds be ever in your favor that you don’t get room 112!

We are sorry for your experience. I understand if you decide to choose another hotel, but if you do decide to come back, hopefully your next experience is a better one. Feel free to contact us if you need anything during your next stay, as well, including ensuring that you do not get the same room as the last stay. Finally I assure you that the gentleman up front did not mean to be nonchalant as he did with you up front. He is trained to stay calm and cool during all situations and he may have read your experience wrong. Thank you very much, once again and we hope you have a wonderful day!
