Newly renovated and very close to York Minster and other attractions. Pleasant and friendly staff, nice room and ensuite bathroom. Secure and easy parking once you know the procedure. We very much enjoyed our stay here

Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and reasonably priced. Enjoyed it both days. Reception staff were very helpful. Close to all the attractions. Walked 15 minutes to the train station, all downhill. Very pleasant walk.

Excellent breakfast with great choice in both buffet style and cooked meal. Bedroom and washroom were both spacious with super shower. Disliked key to get into room as sometimes it didn't work. I often needed help with this. I was on the 3rd floor and had to walk down and back up 28 steps with help for this.

A fabulous independent hotel in a great location close to the Minster and city walls. The staff members are delightful - they couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices.
