BUILDINGS: A&O Venezia Mestre and A&O Venezia Mestre 2 are of different buildings yet they're just adjacent. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Around 10 mins walk to Mestre Train Station where the bus also located going to Old Venice. Fare of €1.50 single & €3.00 Return, can be used either bus or train. Would suggest to buy the €25.00 Day Ticket for unlimited rides to bus, train and boat within Venice. BREAKFAST: €9.65 per adult and half below 18yo. Not as good as other budget hotels we stayed yet better deal still. Be reminded to claim the tokens if you avail of this service otherwise you might could end up having an argument while eating. AIR CONDITIONING: We do asked for this during our stay and told it's not functional during winter season thus ends up opening our windows at night. RECEPTION: Busy as only one person multi-tasking between check-ins and the Bar service. CLEANLINESS. They just empty the rubbish bins in the toilet and the other close to door/mirror, all others not cared for. Well, don't expect from a hostel, do we? Also, dust is noticeable from the time we checked-in. EXTRAS: No kettle in the room however can get free hot water at the ground floor. People working at the reception were good though.

Italy requires everyone including children to show ID to check in into a hotel. Nothing the hotel can do, but it did made me fell uncomfortable sharing so much info about my kids with a hotel.
