「The staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa. The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights. 」

「It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. 「Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing. 「The staff are helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help with things beyond their responsibility, like recommending me with good restaurants nearby, looking for day tours for me and helping me to store my luggage after I checked out! Brilliant hotel with very nice staff!」
