Curtains need updating. Staff should not clean until guests lrave, Staff should clean room, not just replace towels. ( bring enough towels to replace dirty(. Staff should make bed. Should have green outdoor sheltered area for lounging, smoking etc. Should have keys that work. Should have info on local places, not just Ottawa.

This is our second time staying at this location when heading to sandbanks provincial park. The rooms are definitely old but the cleanliness is 100%. Start is always friendly and helpful directing you where to go and how to get on the wifi. Also we cannot say enough about the Piper Arms restaurant attached to this hotel. The food and staff is outstanding. We had dinner and a couple drinks and we’re so happy we did breakfast also. If you’re looking for a great clean place to stay with excellent restaurant. Then look no further!

Convenient location just off of the 401 Hwy, nice indoor pool, really great inhouse restaurant with reasonable prices and great daily specials, friendly and competent staff. However the room plumbing and bed need to be refreshed as bed was saggy and soft and bathroom fixtures and taps are very old and rusty but all working.

I really like the shower & its massaging effect is veey relaxing & their hair dryer. However, this place is really outdated & is in need of renovations. The staff is not well dressed esp the hotel manager who comes in dressed in Tshirt & jeans (He wore the same outfit 3 days in a row) My huband thought that he was a hotel guest) An employee in the front desk is too dressed down for greeting guests (wearing a baseball cap backwards). We asked for an extra pillow & sheets for the pull out couch which never arrived. The mattress is very old & worn & was sagging my husband said he felt like he was in a hammock!. The chair is worn out but is still being used!! We will not go back to this hotel.

The 3 star rating was given because the bed was comfortable. I have stayed in many Ramada's in the past and this one by far is the most dated and tired and dirty facility and room I have ever stayed in. It also smelled of stale smoke. The one pc faucet in the bathroom was not secured to the counter, the toilet and sink were rusted, the bath tub tile walls had moldy grout. The fridge kept making knocking noises all night. The ceiling wall paper trim was peeling all over the room and should'nt even be there, so ugly. The carpeting all over the facility is badly stained including the rooms, the mirror at desk area was all splashed, the TV converter was dirty and there was only 12 chanels-none worth watching. Not worth the money. I only stayed because everything was booked in Bellville due to a convention.
