Located in Koh Lan, Baan Sarai Talay is near the beach. Those looking for an activity can check out Na Baan Pier, while everyone can enjoy the natural beauty of Ko Krok and Ta-Yai Beach.

Bit disappointed room did not get cleaned for 3 days no clean towel s had to use same one 3 days. Location was ok and good view from room and quiet
We only spent one night here but everything was fine,, it is a small waterfront hotel that is family ran, they have tables and chairs where you can eat and relax at in the evening. The rooms are basic but being waterfront is the main plus. They gave us transport to and from the pier which was very accommodating
My experience with this place was nice as the accommodation provides a fantastic sea view in Koh Lan Island. As soon as you arrived at Central Pier, staff of the guest house will come to get you into the accommodation. In the room, there are basic facilities such as bed, TV, sitting sofa with table, fridge, and the room is air conditioned. You will benefit from a large picnic area right at the front of the guest house where you will see a fantastic view of Koh Lan Island heading towards Pattaya. At night time, you can bring your own alcohol to enjoy the seaside view. If you fancy doing a bit of BBQ, visit the nearby local market for fresh prawns, squid, and other seafood stuff. You can then rent a bunch of BBQ equipment from the guest house for 100-150 baht. The place provides an area for you to hang your wet cloth. Please beware that if they are reachable by dogs (quite a few unharmingly running around), they will be chewed up. Breakfast (rice corgie with seafood and a dish of watermelon) is provided around 7am. As this place is a family-run business, don't expect to get a hotel-like service. As nice and helpful as staff are, you will have to ask for things from time to time. The price you pay will not include the motorcycle but can be rented for 300 baht per day with one bottle of petrol provided. Overall, I quite like this place because it gives me a good seaside view, a clean room, and family-like service of this guest house - recommended.
