Right in the heart of the action in Osaka!
This hotel was right in the middle of the action in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, located along the covered market, and about a 10-minute walk from Dotonburi (Osaka's famous food street). The hotel was also a 5-minute walk from the main subway station, which meant getting back to Shin-Osaka station to hop the Shinkansen back to Tokyo and Narita Airport. Definitely a well-placed hotel for someone looking to get right into Osaka's hot spots. East–west, it's also right between the Osaka port (Universal Studios and the Osaka Aquarium) and Osaka castle, each within about 20–30 minutes away on the subways. Despite being on the edge of a very busy section of the city (including right across the street from a huge Pachinko parlour), there was no noise at all once we entered the hotel. The room itself was small—as most Japanese business hotels—but the mattress was a bit less very firm than the others we'd been getting. Overall service was great, with helpful staff that spoke pretty good English. There were laundry services in the hotel, but only one washer and one dryer—so, limited if you had more than a load to get through. Overall, this was a great stay!
