It was a very small room and bathroom. Although it is a street away from the cool stuff in Nagoya that is a plus. The breakfast was Japanese which I love but I know some don’t and that’s all they had.

Really great hotel!
Clean, comfortable and great value for money. Room was more specious than expected. Staff are friendly and professional. Great location in the city center, and near to a big Donki! In the same building as Gold’s Gym, so I got a visitor pass. I will stay again.

Like the location of the hotel, the room is a bit bigger than other similar priced hotels in the area. Facilities are dated, services of staff commendable. Overall I enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Great location! Very near subway Exit 2 ( just walk straight ) Or exit 1 and 8 ( cross opposite). Friendly staff! Oasis 21 bus terminal from airport is around the corner, 5mins walk. Very easy to navigate for both bus or subway. Hotel condition was dated but overall is alright. Clean room.

The location was definitely very convenient, close to station exit, but a short walk from the shops. I think it definitely needs a make-over if APA wants to continue operation. Lots of facilities were very ancient and very old-style. I have not used a turning washer for a long time! It was very hard to operate and get the hot water at the right temperature. The air-conditioning was very old and dusty, and the beds felt soft and worn out. We were unaware of all the other options in the same vicinity, APA needs to upgrade and stay competitive.

You know, I only chose this APA hotel because I had just finished a 6-day hike of the full Kumano Kodo in Wakayama Prefecture, and needed a good, reliable location to stay in 1 night prior to continue traveling to Tokyo the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised by this APA. As always, APA hotels are well-run, with friendly mostly English speaking staff. This particular APA was extremely clean, fairly new, and had a good location close to restuarants and izakaya in Nagoya. What more do you need for a tired, sore traveler? I would definitely stay at this particular APA again.

I always like APA hotel chain in Japan. The best possible service in such a low price. I suggest them start such a service even in major hubs in Europe.

Pros: great location (tips: if you have big heavy luggages you should take elevator to come out of exit 8; normally it’s exit 2) very close to subway station and tons of restaurants around. Pillows on bed were extremely thin so we called front desk for some extra ones and in less than a min someone brought us two fluffy ones. Cons: hotel is very dated. The wall paper by the tv was peeling off and nothing was done. There were few spots of black mold on shower curtain and I’m surprised why they wouldn’t change that (it’s not an expensive item) We paid for b/f when we booked and it was a little disappointing. Very limited choice of food. All in all I’m not sure if I want to stay here again

Very dirty and smelly washroom - stains found everywhere in the bath, toilet and basin. This is the worst APA hotel I have ever stayed in Japan. Terribly disappointed

Disappointing
we could smell smoke in the corridor outside which also went in to our room, though we don't know where it came from. The pillow was thin, which was quite uncomfortable. Service was great, but overall the room was not that good
