The hostel is great. Lovely front desk workers who are 100% here to help. The bed is comfy, the shower is good. The only problem is with the WiFi and clean water. The WiFi does not work, like at all. I’ve heard a lot of people complaining to the front desk about it too. Also, there is no filtered water. You have to buy water bottles or go to the pharmacy to fill up (might be a charge tho). And I wish there were security lockers. You can leave your stuff with the front desk but it would be nice if I could put my whole backpack in a locker. Otherwise, each bed seems to have a light and an outlet which is wonderful. Would stay here again but I need WiFi look up things to do!

I can sleep very well that night, cause i think its not mosquito, but some bug hopefully not bedbug, bit me. its hurt a lot. but the rest of the stay was happening.

Good amenities! Just bring your bags. Beds were a bit creaky. Air cond was working but air circulation was blocked due to 2 bunk beds. Those sleeping on top were freezing while those at the bottom have to wait a while longer.

The place is very very good for its price. The room and bathrooms all look very new, and are taken care of very well, rooms and bathrooms always smell really nice, and all facilities are always provided. Only room for improvement would be the owner of the place could provide some information about Malacca and the must visit places.

Cheap and almost cheerful
Spent two nights here, the room was ok apart from a smell that lingered, a damp musky smell. The loft beds are unstable and a little too close to the ceiling that is rather dirty and has holes in it which is not nice to have above you while you sleep. All but one of the bed side lamps worked and of very bad quality. I did particularly sleep well on either of the nights, my suspicions are that there were bed bugs. Also the electrics in the room were dodgy as they crackled whenever you switched the lights on. All in all it needs work.
