It was a great spot, I was able to walk to all the places I needed and wanted to go to and then return at night. I am a Single female and felt just fine walking around this hotel during the day and coming back at night. It was clean, very nice - It is a late night spot and the front desk let me. know that when I checked in, which was very nice of them. It didn't bother me and I was grateful they let me know. Really enjoyed staying here and will be returning!

Rooms, as indicated, are small, but who wants to spend all there time in a hotel room? Lack of in-room coffee is just a bad planning, who wants to have to go down to the Lobby to get coffee? Maybe at a Motel 6, but not here. Also, as others have mentioned, the rooms are advertised as "sound proof" but they are not "percussion-proof" as the thumping from the on-site restaurant was notable. If you don't like in-room coffee and love nightlife, you'll love it. Would we go back? Sure, with a smuggled in coffee maker, and better earplugs.

Upon arrival, we were informed that we would not be able to use the pool or topside bar/restaurant; due to a private party reserving the facilities for the duration of our stay. (Wed-Fri) As we had anticipated on using those facilities as a meeting point; we were left with NO on site option. We were instructed to go to the "sister" location "around the corner. This was truly disappointing. Will not return.

We thought the hotel was wonderful, but wished there was a coffee maker in the room. Overall though, highly recommend. We were staying there due to its proximity to the Bourbon Room. The Hollywood Blvd area is kind of sketchy, but we never felt unsafe.
