Doing Best Western proud .

Great, dog friendly hotel. Fantastic staff, from welcoming and helpful receptionists to the superbly animated maitre d' in the restaurant. Very good dinner and lots of choice for breakfast.

Conveniently placed close to A10 for an overnight stop good restaurant on site was a bonus. Restaurant Staff very professional and pleasant and excellent entrecôte steak served. Tea and coffee available in the room was very welcome and unusual in France.

Beautiful setting with easy access from main roads. A large commercial centre is a five minute drive. The restaurant has a reasonably varied menu and decent food. Professional helpful friendly staff.

Great refresh

Excellent restaurant which was a pleasant surprise, nice grounds to exercise the dog only small quibble was €30 charge per night for dog to stay which appears to have shot up since Covid🤔. Very close to motorway network so straight back onto to journey following morning.

We stayed again - second time this year. We can't fault the place or the staff, but it would be nice if the restaurant was open on Sundays and Mondays too (although they provide a good list of restaurants within 15km).

Ideal for an overnight stay

The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes.

A really nice hotel, but took us two attempts to get there following copying and pasting to maps. Clicked on the link within the app which then took us to the correct place. Love the sofa in the room and tea/coffee tray.

Lovely place in the woods. Staff are great.

Turned up at the hotel after a long journey and was met by a lovely lady on reception (Kate, I think). She checked us in and booked a table for dinner for us. No hassle at all. Room was great and very quiet, they are also very good with dogs. Dinner was really good as was breakfast. We will be staying again, in fact I am going to book again for our return journey back to the UK.

Good hotel, good location

Stayed for one night to break up journey between Cherbourg and Dordogne. Great location for this, just off the motorway. Nice communal areas. Breakfast was ok - a bit limited in choice. Room was comfortable - our only complaint is that the doors opened onto a small balcony which overlooked a flat roof with the ventilation unit from the kitchen on it - which was noisy and pumping out cooking smells - so we had to keep the doors closed, despite the warm weather.

Brilliant stay in a hotel close to the motorway

We had two small dogs with us and we were allocated a chalet opposite the hotel. This was ideal as one of our dogs was a puppy and needed to wee about 4am. We could take him straight out of the door instead of walking down a corridor, using the lift and probably waking other customers. Excellent

Drainage problem

Terrible drain smell emanating from the toilet in the room . Smelt like a sewer every time we opened the door ,causing the bedroom area to smell.
