great stay in kyoto
The location is prime for this hotel. Easily accessible by buses and hankyu line. Staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly. There are many restaurants near by this location. The room is kinda small but it is okay for 2 people. There is also an onsen on site, dont forget to check it out!

Rooms were small, which is to be expected in Japan, however they were very nicely laid out and comfortable. Bathroom was still a very reasonable size. Staff were friendly, and service was good. Laundry is available and free to use on the second floor, also equipped with dryers - just get detergent from the front desk. Very close to Hankyu line and Randen stations and very walkable to the middle of Kyoto. Lots of food options even late at night, and close to several convenience stores and drug stores.

Kyoto is my favorite city in Japan, and I've been staying at Urbain for many times whenever I visted Kyoto. It's very convenient to the Hankyu Line, and the hotel staff is very nice, rooms are slightly bigger compared to other hotels, and the breakfast is very fresh and tasty. This hotel is highly recommended.
