The place is about 15 mins walk from Kyoto Station. Room was okay, not great, but okay. The shared bathroom was a bit messy. Staff were friendly, suggested a good ramen restaurant to dine.

Tomori guest house is a great place to stay in Kyoto. The rooms are very cute and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and gave us some great food recommendations. Only complaint is the shower room was not great, would definitely recommend wearing flip flops in the shower.

The place is located in a comfortable neighborhood, about 15-20 min walk from Kyoto Train Station. We stayed in a private room on the top floor and what we didn't like was that its connected by some stairs that are exposed to the weather outside, so going to the bathroom meant you had to face the cold (this was February) and the whole place is quite chilly. Besides this, the place is nice.
