Overall it’s an ok place to stay in Kota Kinabalu. We booked thinking that we would have a kitchen and laundry, however the room we checked were into did not. We did, however, get upgraded to a different room with these facilities which was nice. The gym and pool were good, although we had to ask for the air conditioning to be switched on in the gym. The location is not great. It is directly under the flight path for KK airport. There are no ‘nearby’ shops. The mega mall is across the road, however it is impossible to cross the road (as it has 6 lanes). You have to walk 20 minutes in each direction to get to a pedestrian crossing to reach it. The building seems unfinished. The sunset is incredible from the rooftop pool however, which made our stay worth it.
