Hotels near Guangzhou South Railway Station

"I'm sorry that I didn't take photos. The size of the rooms are really nice. My room's chair and bench seat had horrible large stains room 2208. The phone was very dusty. The hallway carpet were never vacuumed during my 5 day stay there, lots of lint on the entire hallway. The bellman won't help unless you ask, they also don't help you with luggage. I put dnd light on but they knocked and insisted on bringing in towels. I stayed there because my friend lives nearby and the price is reasonable. The breakfast buffet is not catered to foreigners at all but you can find yourself some boiled eggs, bread, salad and fruit. The rest of the buffet is dim sum and congee. Overall a very average 3 star because the room is nice and large but general upkeep like big stains is not acceptable for a hotel "

"The beds and towels were not very clean and the apartment had an unpleasant smell when walking in so we had to leave the balcony door open for the whole night. The location is good though as there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than one night."

"I happened to be in a situation where I had to call a ambulance early in the morning the staff at front desk called me a ambulance to take me to the nearest hospital. After I arrived at the hospital at there was no one that understood English Nor German nor Bosnian language si i Perrin ACH was stranded with a bunch of peoples that Neely understood my situation. And in one moment I saw this familiar person that helped me check in at the front desk, Mr. Bruce ! He Spock well English and he happened to be the manager of the hotel Crown plaza, he Spock ti the doctors and personal at the hospital ER department. After we spending some time there like 2-3 hours in the morning from 6am-9am we found out that I had to have a surgery he then suggested me to take me to a different hospital that is better suited for the situation that I was in. He personally drove me to a new hospital 45 min away and helped me to get all the prosecutes done l, literally guided me all the way to the best possible room in the busy hospital. I got my own room with fhe hotel like accommodation ti be operated the following morning. He spent the whole day doing this for me z as nd would not except any sorts of payment. Thank You Mr. Bruce you are a good person and god bless you and your family. "

"For the price of it and for the location, it is a really nice place. It is within walking distance to Chimelong. There are lots of restaurants and stores in the neighbourhood. The place has 24 hour security. Note that this is not a hotel, it is an apartment in a building. So you'll have to contact them before arrival. Either by emails or messages on WeChat. It was easy enough though and they are very fast in responding. We are happy with our stay and we actually booked an extra night after check-in "

"Great location cozy size and homey building, very quite, modern style amenities great for single person trying to experience China on a budget, dont expect 5star hotel but for the value definitely allot of bang for your buck, daily housekeeping is a bones every time you come back to your room its super clean, very safe i had my personal things out all the time. Owner very communicative and has many units to accommodate, this is a plus if you try to stay additional days it doesn’t become a problem. Over all the value is excellent and the place is good. If your looking for a budget option this is excellent. "
