The premise provides a relatively economical accommodation option in Edinburgh. While it is not particularly close to the prime areas, there is good access to public transport, enabling us to explore the city easily. Room is a bit small but sufficient for a short stay. Breakfast is fantastic with loads of options.

It is a moderate college/university housing facility with a lovely garden where one can recall his/her college moments. The facility is close to Holyrood park, but a bit far from city centre, which means it’s not convenient to dine or shop around. The reception and room cleanliness is ok, yet the breakfast is a plus to the whole staying experience. If you are looking for fair, reasonably-priced stays, you can choose it.

訂了4間雙人房。一開始，接待人員只給1間房鑰匙，經提醒，才再確認系統，另給3間鑰匙。進到房間，發現有一間房還有人住在裡面，另外一間給的是單人房，還有一間的衣櫥裡有髒毛巾。反應狀況時，有一個櫃台人員特別沒禮貌，讓人感覺涉及歧視！唯一不錯的是早餐！

其他根本這不是一間酒店而是愛丁堡大學的學生宿舍 以學生宿舍來說性價比是低的 好的是Wifi訊號十分強勁及早餐有很多選擇

The bed is a little bit too soft. If breakfast is not included and be an option, that could be better as I can taste something different? The location is just a little bit off from tourists spots. If direction and transportation information is given by Hotels.com, it's better, also, name of hotel should be given in the country to stay regardless of what language I have selected is important.

Edinburgh uni Summer Stay at Pollock Halls was fantastic. From the easy and friendly check-in it all went smoothly. Great selection at breakfast with lots of seating available. Very helpful and friendly breakfast staff. Shared bathroom was very clean as as expected for uni accommodation. Bed was very comfy. 100% recommend.

This accomodation was a good price relative to other accomodation in Edinburgh. We enjoyed the breakfast which is served buffet style in the university refectory which is a quick walk from the halls. We ate a couple of nights at Arthur's which was also a reasonably priced and was tasty. There was also the option of eating in the refectory. The downsides were the beds which I found to be hard and the tiny TV in the room. We appreciated the shower gel, nice towels and the heated towel rail which kept the towels warm and dry! The halls are a bus ride or a 25 min walk from town, however convenient for a walk up to Arthur's seat. The whole experience was fun and felt different to a bog-standard hotel. My 10 year old son really enjoyed it!

The Reception building where you need to check in is difficult to find. The bed was comfortable but the room was way too hot. The shower/washrooms were not clean and I only heard three other people staying in my area. The elevator was out of service for over 12 hrs and I was on the 5th floor. The campus has food and drink options that are convenient for weekend stays if you don’t want to go off campus, however breakfast (free) doesn’t start until 7:30 am. The room was very clean.

There was mold in the shower and stains on the carpet, and the rooms had no soundproofing. It was hard to fall asleep due to the snoring coming from next door. Breakfast, on the contrary, was quite decent considering British hotel standards.
