Hostelling International Downey hotels

"It was the least favorite room I've had yet. 809. It was facing the Sonesta. No view at all, kind of a bummer. It was also at the end of a hall and the bed was right by the door. I love staying there though. I stayed 3x in a two week period recently. It's always my go to hotel when traveling through LAX. I've stayed there more than 5x in recent months for sure. Last week was 1127. That was nice, I prefer rooms with LA city view and love love watching the planes take off and land. I've had a a one bedroom suite that was incredible, and a great view as well. It's CLEAN and modern, easy to access with great shuttle service."

"Very clean and safe. There are supermarkets, nice bakeries, and many bus stops nearby. We had no problems. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I'm cheering for the Dodgers."
