"We had the most amazing stay here. The staff are incredible; attentive, polite and very friendly! The owner took time to make us feel very welcomed and shared her local knowledge with us. The room was magical and catered for our every need and more! The balcony was so relaxing and our view was incredible. The pool area was fab and the beach was literally a stones throw away. The complimentary cocktail hour was a lovely touch. We ate most nights in the restaurant and the menu was varied and the food delicious. We also loved the yoga classes and both teachers were fab! We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely stay here on our next visit. "

"The hotel exterior is really well done and the rooms look in good shape overall at first glance, but we had quite a few issues. At check in, the front desk staff were rude. When we showed them the reservation number, they took a while to find it and made it seem like it was our fault. We got to our room and it was pretty dirty. There were smudges on the counter and mirror, what looked like body fluid and drink stains on the sofa and comforter. I asked for another blanket and they said it would cost 200 baht. We were allowed 2 towels per person and had to walk to the lobby to exchange them. Towels weren’t offered at the pool so this was an inconvenience. Also, the toilet seat was broken and mold was present on the grout and caulking. Lastly, the fire escape was locked and while I’m sure it was locked for security, this presents a life and safety hazard. Overall the place looks nice to draw people in, but things are dirty and we felt we got nickel and dimed for everything. I’m not normally the type to leave a bad hotel review, but service was bad enough We felt we had to warn others to find someplace else."

"Ocean view suite was clean and well kept. Property itself was aging, but was well maintained, clean and newly painted. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the shuttle was convenient for getting into town and we had no issues finding grab taxis to get around. Dining was not world class, but was still perfectly acceptable, with good selection of international foods for breakfast. Wife rated the spa massage and laundry service highly. I would stay again at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin as it offered very good value for money. "

"The property itself is great, all the rooms face the ocean. The reason I booked this hotel was for its proximity to Hua Hin, this property is not close enough to Hua Hin. There are no easy Bolt vehicles or restaurants near this property."
