The rooms and property are nothing like the pictures. The property is very old. There is construction around the building and there was an area of the building with yellow caution tape around fallen bricks.

Addition on Boston’s Pizza is nice. But included continental breakfast horrible. No elevator- our room on second floor. In our 70’s, and had to carry heavy luggage up flight of stairs ! Carpeting in hallways filthy - place very outdated. I do NOT recommend.

This was one of the worst stays I've experienced. The staff was amazing but everything else was terrible. They put us on the second floor when we have 3 small children, so a lot of baggage and no elevator. Checked in and it was humid and hot. We waited two hours and nothing got cooler. So I kindly went to the front desk and they knew they gave us a room without A/C! she offered to give us a fan and we could open our window. No way. So then she said she could move is. But she moved us clear across the building and still on the second floor. Then the new room there was dirt and hair in the shower. The TV in our first room didn't work. When we went to the pool there were no clean towels on the shelves. The breakfast was cold and little selection. The adjoining restaurant was awful as well but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Just overall very unhappy.

Staff was great , the photos catfished us sadly. A lot of the rooms need work to them. The first room we stayed in the The vent was dirty, floor felt wet, the door was hard to close and a screw was coming out off the door hinge. The second room the the shower didn’t drain and the chair had holes in it. The pool was fun for my kiddos and the AC was amazing in our second room. This hotel needs work and then it would be so perfect!

Not the facilities’ fault, but construction going on right outside of our window this morning. Also, the in room coffee maker was missing the tray it needs to make coffee. That said, the lobby coffee was excellent! Overall, nice stay.

Nice, but needs some upkeep. Minimal staff so usually waiting to talk to someone. Small bathroom and the shower liquids are bulky and mounted right where you stand in the shower. Cloth shower curtain, inside gets wet and soggy at the bottom, outside water on the floor.

Our room was excellent. Unfortunately our air conditioning did not work, but we asked for a fan, and they brought us one right away. We had a 13 day road trip, and this was one of the best hotels we stayed at throughout.

On two separate visits, the hotel was average at best. Both rooms lacked working air conditioning with the outside temperature reaching 100 on both days. The check-in staff also acted as if it was a hastle to check us in, as if they were doing us a favor. The adjoining restaurant had a greeter who refused to seat us and could not give a time frame as to when a table would be ready. Overall, I will not stay there again in the future.

When checking in, I couldn't help but noticed the smell of chlorine and knew the pool was very close by. I only received one key card and when I requested another one, they said they couldn't since they had a low supply of them. This was pretty inconvenient since we were a group of 6. The a/c was inconsistent. One room was super cold and the others hot. There's no way to turn on the ventilation in bathroom. My husband and I both thought the water in the shower and sink had a smell. Lastly the ice machine worked 1 out of the 4 days that I stayed. Most of the staff I interacted with were friendly. And I really appreciate that they were dog friendly, although a lack of grass around the perimeter of the building they do have an area by the pool that has grass.

Check pool open times first here & be prepared for no help & rude treatment! Room & property were fine, but troublesome front desk people over 2 days made less than fully enjoyable. 2 different interactions; I needed to extend my Expedia booking by 1 day. Asked front desk if they could extend me- NO, I'd have to do that thru app and no empathy whatsoever, in fact I felt like I was asking something impossible from them. Both front desk guys "ganged up" on me over this simple question. I am new to Expedia & couldn't easily do it/navigate the Expedia app so I called Best Western corporate support. They advised me to just go into Expedia and book a new day/booking and she would forward that to this motel so I'd keep my room # etc. That was easy. WHY didn't the front desk at this motel tell me that instead of being jerks?. Reason for needing another day was so I could take more time with my Daughter & Grandson on my this, my 1st visit to see them. A BIG part of my booking here was so we all could enjoy the pool. This Best Western Casper Downtown motel's website says pool open 8am to 11pm, but sign on pool door says closed at 10pm. Big disappointment when time is short & every hour counts. No understanding from staff. Do better on your policies & let us/Expedia know. Otherwise room & property clean, just unfriendly staff.
