**READ BEFORE BOOKING**
We had a lovely check in with one of the staff @ 8pm after a late arrival. but unfortunately that's where any positivity ended. After aprox 2hrs, the power died in our room with constant loud beeping noise from the powerbox very close to bed. This beep'ed ALL night, we got no sleep. This, along with no power (or AC) after flight from AUS.
We sent a sms to the nice staff member but no response this time.
At approx 10am a different staff member arrived to man the desk, we went to speak with him. We were very tired but remained calm looking for a solution. Without any mention of money from us the first thing he said was "but your bags in the room, so you must pay". This gobsmacked us, as this was not fixing any problem. We stated we don't think it fair to pay for this room given no sleep, shower or power. He stated "you must get out now", even though this was hrs before checkout. I asked to speak with the boss (I actually speak Indo) hoping he may have a solution & maybe an apology. We explained we could not leave with no power in our phones as we ride bikes and need maps before long ride. The boss rang & was even more disrespectfully rude stating "ok you don't pay but get out now!" We refused to go until we had power in our phones. Instead of being offered another room we were made to feel this was our fault. No offer for another room for shower or power, we found working power in the kitchen & have since learnt they didn't pay the power bill, FAIL!! =(
