The staff at eh Riverside Hotel in Sunnybank are exceptional! They are warm and caring and knowledgable and fun! The room however was awful! It looked like it had last been renovated before Expo 88 and was tired as can be. The bed was uncomfortable, there were no blockout curtains so the room remained as bright as a fridge all night but the temperature was more like a furnace as the air-con in the bedroom did not work properly (to be fair the air-con in the living room worked well). To use the shower you had to climb into a small bath and the glass door was very difficult to open. Overall we were very unimpressed and I was gutted as it was such a special night for us.

Anniversary weekend
Have stayed here alot,goodvalue, great location close to city and Sth Bank.Staff vey helpful and pleasant,except for resturant manager,older guy with an officious manner.

Our room didn't have any basic cutlery in it such as spoon, knifes etc. The cup/ mug didn't get cleaned. Other than that, this hotel was at a great location and the staff are very friendly.
