Its a lovely old converted mansion. Great ambiance with the rooms named after poets and with framed poems on the walls! The view from the roof terrace is awesome and breakfast was great. The location was close to all the ancient attractions I wanted to see.

The evening/night reception was extremely helpful, arranging food delivery from a local restaurant and providing some breakfast foods for an extremely early departure. The day reception provided a good restaurant recommendation within easy walking distance. Nice and close (walking distance) to the Acropolis and Parthanon. We enjoyed our stay at Home and Poetry.

Very charming boutique hotel housed in historic building with rooftop breakfast cafe (with acropolis view!) in great location. Home & Poetry was a great choice for us while visiting Athens. The hotel was extremely clean with plenty of toiletries. Our suite had an upstairs room that was a perfect layout for our adult daughter. The rooftop cafè offered a buffet breakfast as well as a made to order menu each morning that we enjoyed while taking in the acropolis view. This is also a great place to enjoy the view in the evening. The location is perfect for walking to all of the shops, restaurants and meeting place for starting acropolis tour. The staff does a nice job of taking care of guests. Plumbing quirky in old building, but other than that no issues. We enjoyed staying in this lovely hotel with delicious breakfast and acropolis view allowing us to conveniently walk around Plaka!

Beautifully authentic repurposed older building recently updated without losing its charm and heritage. The staff were kind and courteous and the (included) roof top breakfast was tasty and scenic! Safe and elegant place to stay less than a block off the plaka!

The location of the property is its key benefit. Nothing can beat breakfast on the roof top with a close view of Acropolis. The downside is the street noise but gradually you are getting used to it. The team was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Home and Poetry!

Its a lovely old converted neoclassical mansion. Beautifully renovated and rooms themed with famous Greek poets! Location is a quiet street super close to the acropolis. They are helpful in every way and the breakfast was great!
