Hotels near Akigawa Station

"Its directly next to Fussa Station but we didnt experience any noise from the trains. Theres several shops and restaurants and numerous bars close by. The main gate of Yokota airbase is about a 15 minute walk and all flat ground. The rooms are fairly spacious for a Japanese hotel. The staff spoke english and check in was via a kiosk ojly down side is 4pm check in time Other than that its a great place to stay near Yokota airbase"

"It was convenient for pur family. We booked 5 rooms total. Rooms are a bit small and dated but very close to train station and bus stn to haneda airport. For the price it’s ok. "

"My wife and I booked a room in this hotel for a one-night stay to make our trip to Mt. Takao easier the next day. In terms of that, it was fine. Mt. Takao is just two stops away and we were able to get started nice and early thanks to this hotel. The price was good, especially because I booked it last minute. The breakfast buffet was also quite affordable and pretty good (the food was at convenience store quality, but in Japan that means it wasn't bad at all). The staff had some ability to use English and I had some Japanese, so communication was fine, but I am not sure how it would be if you had no Japanese. However, the room itself was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows are not soft at all and the room was a bit cramped for two people. I have stayed in other budget hotels and the layout of the room was a little better. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from Hachioji station, which isn't too bad, but the area around Hachioji is pretty sketchy at night. All-in-all, I can recommend this hotel, but there are probably more comfortable places closer to the station."

"The hotel was quite far from the station and the room was quite small and smelly. Although the staff was polite when they are at the front desk, their assistance was bare minimum. I have stayed at a few other APA hotels, and they have been so positive and pleasant, so this stay at Hachioji was a disappointment. "
