Carubba was exactly as lovely as we have been thought beforehand. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was special but the portions were hugh! We could have leave the food but it was too good to leave! The room (12) was probably the best! One tiny minus concerns the small area between the sea and sun beds. It could have been cleaned daily.

Loved our stay here. Killer views, close private beach for a dip. Rooms were clean and nice. Not huge rooms but fine for us. This is a place if you want the quieter vacation as most restaurants/shops are about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was really good here, but wife and I weren’t really impressed with the dinner. They take a break serving through the lunch hour till about 4. Most staff was friendly and kind. Front desk was really helpful with things like cell phone power adapter for European power and calling taxis as well as recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had the absolutely best time at this hotel. Everything was amazing. The air conditioning in the room was perfect, the bed was so comfortable with incredible pillows, and the shower was really spacious. Every room has a view of the water which was breathtaking. The private beach area for hotel guests was lovely and the water was so beautiful for swimming. We stayed for four nights and dined in the restaurant every evening as the view was stunning and you are seated right on the water! The food was very high quality, highly recommend the beef cheeks and the tuna and my partner loved the octopus. Breakfast every morning was beautiful and I definitely recommend the pancakes. All of the staff were so accommodating in both the hotel and the restaurant. When they realised it had been my birthday while we stayed, they brought up an amazing bottle of sparkling wine up to the room as a complimentary gift! They were very helpful in letting us know about a bus to take a day trip to Kotor which helped us save money we would have spent on taxis. They also arranged airport transfers which were an additional cost but huge peace of mind. We would definitely stay here again and can't recommend it enough!

If I could leave 7* , I would . Beautiful property with an amazing staff! You gonna get a million $ view for sure. Lots of privacy, serenity, walking distance to local grocery shops , bakery and restaurants if you decide to change the menu ( even though they’ve got an incredible chef ) , and presentation is top notch . Das Hotel selbst ist sehr ruhig gelegen und doch nicht weit weg (10 Min) zu quirligem Leben. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant direkt am Wasser gelegen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Leider dauert es sehr lange, bis Getränke und Speisen kommen und geschmacklich ist es durchschnittlich. Das Frühstück gibt es leider nicht in Buffet-Form. Es stehen 5 Gerichte zur Auswahl, was langweilig wird, wenn man ein paar Tage länger dort verweilt. Ausserdem isst nicht jeder jedes Gericht oder kann es nicht essen, allergiebedingt. Hier wäre Buffett und das selber auswählen besser.
