We booked the room with seaview, however we were assigned to the room at the lower floor at the corner which the interior is quite old and tiny which is quite different from the photos shown on the booking website. The room door was difficult to open as well, we needed to pull it hard. Also, as the weather was bad with thunderstorm on the day we checked in, heavy rain just came into the room from the gap of room door which we needed to use all towels to absorb the rainwater at the room entrance. The facility is insufficient as well, even it does not provide water cups / glasses for drinking water.

Omg this property is soooo pretty. We got the room facing the ocean, the view is breathtaking! Walking to the old town is fairly easy as well. Parking is stressful, it’s very narrow and steep but he stuff help you with it. Breakfast is soooo good!

This was a beautiful property with an amazing sea view & terrace. However, the bed was uncomfortable and felt unsecure. Also the air conditioning was working but not sufficient for cooling to our liking. The included breakfast on the terrace was perfect w/ a view and staff were very helpful. I would stay here again!

Fabulous location; hotel with a lot of character, spectacular garden and phenomenal views of the bay. Staff was extremely helpful and took care of parking the car. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and out on the patio with the magnificent view. Short walk to the centre of Taormina. Highly recommend this hotel.

Reception was not helpful when asking questions. Property was beautiful however the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a slab of cement . No parking and not helpful as to where to go to find any amenities

Had four nights at this hotel.The rooms with the sea view are fantastic.Rooms are clean and big.The breakfast is very good, staff helpful.Easy walk to the bus terminal and to Umberto street.Stairs to Isola Bella are not far either.The gardens are beautiful.

We liked absolutely everything about the hotel!!! What a jewel of a hotel, with a view of Taormina and the sea that is unmatched. The people who work there know they work in a special place and it shows with their pride. If you must have 5-star glitzy facilities, it is probably not for you but if you are looking for a small European-style hotel, it’s the best.

Fantastic setting. View of the coast, gardens, terraces. This makes it. We’d been on the move in Italy and when we got here we didn’t want to leave the hotel property, just stay all day. Breakfast outside on terrace is a highlight. Friendly staff very service oriented. Highly recommended.
