As soon as I entered the room, it was clear it had not been properly cleaned—dirty linens, towels, tub, and carpets. The overall condition was unacceptable and unsanitary. I reported this immediately, but the staff was unhelpful, unfriendly, and refused to issue a refund. They offered to clean the room instead, so I gave them the opportunity while I attended an event. However, upon returning, nothing had been addressed—the room was still in the same filthy condition.
At that point, I requested to cancel due to the health concerns and overall discomfort. This entire situation was incredibly inconvenient, especially while traveling with my kids. I had to scramble to find another hotel last minute, which ended up being an hour outside the city, forcing us to drive in the early morning hours past.
To make matters worse, no manager was available at the time, and I was told I’d have to wait until Sunday to speak with someone regarding a refund. The lack of accountability and support made an already stressful situation even worse.
