the room space is just a bit small which is a little bit out of expectation (as the photos seen quite large) but the environment is still very good and the cleaning service is well done, receptionists are very nice as well. Good!

For the price paid for a one night stay the Ibis offered very good value for your money. Within walking distance of everything we needed to do in Portsmouth. All staff members were polite and very helpful. Rooms are small and bathroom a bit tight on space but they are clean and comfortable. We slept well and the Ibis suited our needs. Would stay again at this hotel if visiting Portsmouth again.

The windows and doors do not provide enough sound proofing. The hotel is located in a very noisy area. Although it didn't help that there was a very noisy dog in the next room.

Good spot, not far from the train station and easily reasonable distance from the seafront or harbour and outlets area. Rooms are small, with access to the bathroom psychiatry right. And not much sound proofing.

We stayed for one night so it was perfect for a stopover. Our room and en-suite was very clean and well presented but the bathroom was so small. You didn’t have a lot of leg room when sitting on the toilet and the shower was very small but that was the only negative thing! We had breakfast in the morning, there was a selection of food on offer so you wouldn’t go hungry to be fair. The staff we met were polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again for a stopover.

Excellent location. Parking should not be charged separately. Carpet in room badly stained. Bathroom extremely small and needed to exit to be able to dry oneself after shower. Shower was good but agin very tight.

Good value compact but well designed.
Rooms are compact but well designed and well lit. Plenty of space to put clothes, luggage, and a space to work for the morning. Acoustic isolation was alright so luckily it wasn’t very busy. The bathroom was clean if a little on the small side. The opening porthole was flipping brilliant! - so many hotel rooms are airless and even when freezing in January I was grateful for air. Service was great. As for evening meal, I’m gluten intolerant and a pescatarian (worst customer?) so the food choice was limiting (I chose fish and chips over the only option of cheese toastie and I needed a meal - but the next day was not good) but the food was good overall.

Absolutely loved our stay, breakfast was very nice variety, staff were lovely, room was clean. Only a few very small downfalls would be some black mold in the shower and the bathroom being very small for a £163 room, if you were a bigger person you'd have trouble just getting in and out the bathroom. Could have also done with an extra pillow as there was only 3 for a double bed.
