Dear Kelly: thank you for taking the time to respond. There was a change in cleaning crew, which has since been remedied. The Time Warner Cable Router is a standard router they installed and no one has ever reported head aches from it. This complaint is so surprising and abnormal! We believe that Time Warner would have received FCC certification for any of their electronic devices. We sincerely suggest that if this has caused head aches, that this condition be properly evaluated by a trained physician. Good luck!

Dear Luca: We are very sorry that you had a negative experience when you were unable to enter the property. The code is created for security has been working well for guests for several years now, especially allowing for late check in and preventing lost keys. We are surprised it didn't work. We wish you had notified us, especially since we had previously talked over the phone. We are easy to reach on the number listed. Regarding the long welcome information kit, Guests have consistently praised and have thanked us often for all the information we provide them as it contains information on nearby restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The mosquitoes issue could have been due to the weeks of unusual incessant rain in the LA area in general. But they were probably in the outside areas, as it appears that you did not enter the property. But please call us when you can. We can try to find ways to make it up for your experience.

Hi Tommy: We had sent the door key code and House information with Expedia messaging center. We are not sure why it did not reach you in time. Regarding the smoke detector battery, the Previous guest had removed the battery and smoked in the room. Our Cleaners were able to clean and remove the odor, but they did not have a ladder handy to place the battery before your arrival time. We have since fixed the other issues you have mentioned. Hi Shownomi: The toilets are low-flow toilets to preserve Water in California. Press & hold for full flush. The bulbs are LED again to preserve electricity per California Power guidelines. They may flicker for a few seconds when turned on, but will stay on after. The washing machine is electronic and the spin cycle has a timer, if not adjusted, it will have to be restarted. I will include all this in the information so it is clearer. Regarding the towel in the dryer, I checked with the Cleaners. we are sorry, it is possible that a towel may have been missed in the dryer. We wash extra towels and store for our guests. Dear Paul: We try to provide a Garden/Green atmosphere, which is hard to find in LA. There are four tall trees in the property providing a lot of shade. So, there is a rustic look outside (leaves, yard debris bins, etc.), but contrasted with modern updated interiors. The lights zig zaging the patio are garden lights, which provide sufficient lighting to sit at the Patio table but also reducing glare in the eyes. The property is not advertised as walking distance to the beach, but rather a short driving distance. There are several properties right at the beach, but are 4 times more expensive. We try to offer as much value for the moderate pricing. Regarding parking, we have obtained Parking Permit Allocation from LA city and are providing parking permits to our Studio guests. Hi Jeffrey: First thank you for your feedback. it helped us focus and get things remedied. We have started issuing Parking Permits for Studio guests, so they can park right outside the property! During your stay, our Cleaner had emergency surgery and we had to find a alternate cleaner quickly. Now our Regular cleaner is back and cleaning is done well. We also have put in measures to get the photos post cleaning so there is oversight. Some people don't like foam bed. But most people had given us positive reviews about the bed in the past. If you would like to have an amount refunded for your inconvenience, please contact us. Thanks again for your detailed review!

Hi Pierre: I was informed by Expedia that the Fees and Total charges for the stay are shown clearly before a Guest decides to make a payment, just so that there are no surprises for the Guest. Dear Doreen: We realize it is upsetting receiving a parking ticket. Most all Big cities and Metro areas in USA have parking regulations. Parking signs are clearly posted on the Street itself for anyone to see. We are sorry you did not see the parking restrictions. We tried to help with information about LA City Parking Violations Bureau, but we were also disappointed that they declined to drop the parking fines even for Out of country visitors. Regarding Hotel information and parking, we had sent the instructions several weeks before your arrival date. The Expedia Guest Conversations still have a record of that. Guests shutting down emails several weeks before travel is something we have never faced before. We will update our processes to include this possibility in the future. We have also called Expedia and requested Website changes to show an indicator that the Guest has seen the Conversation. They said they would include that as part of their continuous website upgrades.
